And I already listen to Dream Theater, Opeth and Rush, so no need to mention them.

Thanks for the suggestions guys I'll be sure to check them out, three of those bands I already listen to(Tool, Animals as leaders and Queensryche)forgot to mention them, but thanks for suggesting anyway. Dat ELP man, where have I been lol? I only listened to one song since I'm on crappy Last.fm right now, but it usually only takes one song for me to like a band.

Queensryche is pretty good. Check out Operation Mindcrime for an awesome concept album.

Tool
Rishloo
Karnivool
Lost Horizon (prog power metal)

There are probably some others that I can't think of right now.

Animals as Leaders. They're instrumental, but their music is beautiful, heavy when it needs to be, and technical.

Brain Salad Surgery is a good starter.

So is Trilogy. Or their first album, named after the band.

Reminds me quite a bit of Scale The Summit. They are also a great instrumental Prog Rock/Metal band.

I think Coheed and Cambria is listed as that... but I'm not expert.

Only 2 true albums released, but absolutely one of my favorite bands. LTE is basically an instrumental Dream Theater, ideal for those who don't like LaBrie. I listen to LTE almost daily.
