I'm in love with Jesus and proud of it!
Alright, last week I put in 48 hours. They don't really want you to put in over 45 hours this time of year because they don't sell as much (I work at a beverage distribution company), but you get paid nonetheless. They deduct 2.5 hours for lunch each week.
Here's my problem. Everyone was off on Christmas and got paid holiday... except me. It's not probation because my brother started at the same time and he got paid holiday.
Is it legal or even ethical for them to not give me a paid holiday just because I worked a few hours overtime? Can I do something about it or take legal action?
