I've had my xbox for about 4-5 years now, and recently in the past few months my HDD on my Xbox 360 keeps saying unformatted, then I reformat it again and again. It happens EVERY time I try to install a game so it could run better. It seems to happen such as when I installed Halo 4, or BO2. It also seems to happen after I clear the cache (which is a good thing too) I realize this isn't xbox.com, but my problem seems to be unique

Just thought I could get REAL advice instead of some random forum user on xbox.com telling me some standard answer. I didn't want to want to buy a new HDD because I don't have a job, so I really don't want to pay for a 60GB HDD

Don't waste $199 on a new xbox that'll become outdated towards the end of this year. But what I do is Activate the Dashboard with the middle controller button and I go to MY Games and click the game I want to play on.. MY dashboard rarely seems to load up anymore.. -_- And the hardware is only a year and a half old in use wise.
