The Song Of Nephilim

Xenoblade <3

Alright, I finally finished Resident Evil 6, and I was deeply disappointed Ada did not have an ending herself. My favourite campaign was probably Leon's and Jake's/Ada. I absolutely hated Chris's, except the last bit. I used Helena in it all the way through because I like her. Ada's campaign was fun also, just disappointed it didn't have an after credits ending. She has been hired for a new job. I can see her making an appearance in the next RE, but I really want Jill and Claire the most.

The ending of RE6 after beating all the campaigns shows Jake fighting what looks like more B. O. W. S. So does that mean Jake is possible once again for the next RE? Remember his line saying he will not become like his father.

There was a lot of deja vu in this game. I love the idea of multiple campaigns to find out where everyone ends up, but I mean come on. Chapter 5 in all the campaigns, (Ada chapter 4) have those immortal B.O.W.S chasing you while you find stuff. It was quite a stupid idea. I also did not like the fact that there were repeated fights. It is cool and all but I hope it is different next re game. I want different campaigns once again, but this time I want Capcom to make it better, and not give us a case of total deja vu. Anybody feel the same way? Did there really have to be a driving sequence every campaign?

Carla Radames..... ahahah what a mind**** The way they showed this Ada clone was quite brilliant, because it had me confused for a bit. I know Ada isn't necessarily evil or good, but she is wise. That is all I have to say really. I enjoyed the game, but it had much potential to be better. Chris's campaign was a bore.

Yeah, that was disappointing but I'm just glad we got an extra campaign for her afterwards.

My favourite campaign was probably Leon's and Jake's/Ada. I absolutely hated Chris's, except the last bit. I used Helena in it all the way through because I like her. Ada's campaign was fun also, just disappointed it didn't have an after credits ending. She has been hired for a new job. I can see her making an appearance in the next RE

Leon's had the best gameplay with the zombies and puzzles. Older RE fans and survival horror fans will enjoy his more, but I found the story in his boring. I also didn't care for Helena, she was a pretty boring character as well imo.

I enjoyed Chris's over Jake's and Leon's. It did have more action than horror, but I still found it enjoyable and challenging. I mainly liked it however for the story. Chris's campaign felt more like a movie and I was actually interested in the story. I also cared for both him and Piers, but I've always been a HUGE Chris Redfield fan. Piers was a great new character as well, it's too bad with what happened to him. I would have liked to see him more.

Ada's was the best though. I'll say they'll make some side games for her alone.

but I really want Jill and Claire the most.

There's rumors that Claire might star in some DLC for 6. Jill was in 5 and Revelations, so I can wait for her to make a reappearance in 7.

The ending of RE6 after beating all the campaigns shows Jake fighting what looks like more B. O. W. S. So does that mean Jake is possible once again for the next RE? Remember his line saying he will not become like his father.

Yes, very possible. Actually I would say he'll become RE's new star, along with Chris & Leon. Being who he is, you know they're going to use him a lot here on out. I hope Sherry makes some reappearances as well.

I also did not like the fact that there were repeated fights.

But that's in like... every RE game. Bosses are just really hard to actually kill in RE. It's always been like that.

I want different campaigns once again, but this time I want Capcom to make it better, and not give us a case of total deja vu. Anybody feel the same way? Did there really have to be a driving sequence every campaign?

I agree, they had too many driving sequences. They got annoying after awhile. Especially the climbing! Oh god, that really got on my nerves.

It's too bad the whole game wasn't like Leon's first chapter. It would have been amazing.

You didn't catch on to the two different outfits? I caught it right away.

And yes, it could have been better but I still enjoyed the hell out of it.

Thanks for the reply. I did catch both outfits being different yes, but I always thought Ada just changed. It confused me at times because she was alive after she got shot down, and well Ada's campaign explained that to me. I know they are two different people, but I thought it was very nicely done on how they tied it up.

Sorry, I have not played RE in a very long time, so I might be blank on the repeated fights. Helena boring? I respected her for not coming on to Leon, and I appreciated her toughness as a character. I would really hope she returns. Chris's I didnt like because it felt like a third person shooter and not RE. Then again, Leon was probably the only one who had the "horror"

The game was not scary at all! Claire in re6 dlc? Oh my god yes please she is my fav RE character. That would be nice to have. Piers I really didnt care for until the end. I understand why you like him though. I hated Chris from the beginning. He was very sexist in the beginning >.>

I appreciate Sherry as a character in this one, and it did truly show she cared for Jake even though he was an arsehole. Yes, I love Sherry's character in 6. Just the caring aspect was nice. Jake as the new star? Well I can see why they would use him.

The climbing was bad. I got stuck for awhile there!

No point in putting something funny, clever or informative here. Most probably im going to get perma-banned anyway.

I like the massive amount of content it has. Seriously, I love playing merceneries. And the gemeplay is very good. I like all the freedom of movement.

Storywise the game didnt blow me away though. Sometimes its dumb. I mean Carla's plan was to -blam!- up the world and blame it on Ada right? Does she even realize she is an Ada clone?!?!?!?

One thing I absolute hate though is Jake. What a stupid douche moron. He is not cool or deep in anyway, he just plain sucks. Like everyone else though. Specialy Leon and Sherry. hmmmm Shery....

I don't think Jake will be in the next RE game. Possibly another one in the future, just not the next.

With the exception of Chris, I don't believe any character has been playable two games in a row. Leon was last in RE4. Sherri made her last appearance (NPC) in RE2(?). And the others are new people.

If anything, they may bring back another character, like Jill, and then a new one.

Mercenaries is fun. Been playing with one of my buddies lately in it. Carla's plan was to screw up the world, yes. She does realize she is an Ada clone, but she thinks she is really the real one as well. Some alternate costumes are bad. Gotta love Sherry's though.

Jake. Yes, I agree is a douche for the first few chapters, but he starts showing he is a good guy towards the end.

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

Is Resident Evil 6 really that bad? Is it worse than ORC like almost every reviewer is saying? Probably, not. Reviewers generally suck at giving good criticism.

I could actually bet my life that Jake WILL be in 7. I'm almost 99.99999% certain of it.

Omg. It's not HALF as bad as ORC. It's a lot like five, but more horror. If you're expecting the older RE games, then you're probably not going to enjoy this one very much, but imo it's a better version of 5. The reviewers just compare it too much to the old RE survival horror, rather than for what it is.

You are lucky. My friends refuses to play mercenaries with me, he says he doesnt like it. But I've been playing since RE4 and he didnt even play it in RE5 but still I insist. I have to play with my brother and randoms.

I agree with the alternates though. Leon, Dork(Jake) and Helena in particular. Pirate, club douche and Las Vegas hooker, wtf? Trust me I love Sherry's but I hate how I saw it coming from a mile away. Is it really that hard to give her actual combat gear Capcom?

Sure, Jake might be droping the douche act but it took sweet little Sherry for that and in my eyes he is still a weiner. Reminds me of Snow but he eventually didnt suck and I missed him in XIII-2.

Its not even bad, its a good game. I havent even heard of a reviewer claim that ORC is better! If there is one out there he is talking out of his ass.

Have to agree with this. It IS better than 5. The reviewers just cry about how it is not horror. 6 imo is a good game. ORC is bad.

No I am not expecting the older Resident Evil, if I was I would expect the horrible gameplay that they had. I wish it would go back to the atmosphere it had but where the story is going it wouldn't make any sense.

I don't even understand their logic when I heard it. "It is bad because it has more action, therefore it isn't like the older ones and is bad." Even though they blatantly disregard RE5 and they give it good scores all around, even though it didn't improve in combat or gameplay from the last one and it was action oriented? Seriously? I sometimes think they are grasping at straws.

Okay serious questions about RE6. Do the ai control partners take damage? Can you walk and shoot now? Is the UI better or worse? How many QTE are in this one?

AI takes no damage and doesnt steal your stuff! In 6 you can run, sprint, roll, dive, slide, jump back, counter, you name it! QTEs are there in specific moments in the campaign and some are anoying. But a TU is going to be released that allows you to take them off.

Awesome! Just -blam!- yes! Much improved, but wish there was an option to remove the partner all together.

Of course all that freedom of movement works. There is so much that your character is capable of doing and if it werent for that I couldnt survive in merceneries. Except the useless cover system. You dont press a button or anything but aproach any cover while aiming and your character takes cover whether you want it or not. However, its just a minor problem as cover isnt really needed.

I hate QTEs too but I deal with them. Thank God for the TU.

The cover system sounds like the one from Mass Effect. They shouldn't have done that. That was one of my main gripes with Mass Effect's combat system. Glad cover isn't needed. Glad every other combat move works as you say. I guess, I will get the game. Probably doesn't cost that much since people don't really care for Resident Evil.

No, its nothing like ME3s cover system. ME3s system is actually good and necessary. The one in RE6 is just plain dumb and useless. When I say you can roll and all that stuff, I mean you can do it from a standing position. Not from cover itself. Sorry if I caused any confution. And good thing that you are getting it but youre wrong with that last part. I care about Resident Evil... I care...

I just realized you said ME not ME3 itself but my point still stands. I

No not ME3's cover system. How could I hate that one? I am talking about the first one. In the first one you had to point and ram into the wall or cover you want to get behind.

I meant most as in people who generally, just play games that are popular because of friends and never even tried any of the Resident Evil games. There is a lesser demand to play Resident Evil. I care about Resident Evil, too. I have been playing since the first one.

Right, I remember it. Its just that for some reason I read that as ME3. You've been playing since 98? Was it 98? Dafuq? Buy RE6 now! Maybe 30 bucks used.

Ohai, I'm Loscocco (pronounced Loss-cocoa). I'm a college student (computer science major), 3D animator, and long-time Halo player.

I didn't bother; maybe I will when I can get the game for under $20. Side note, if you look at the cover art right, the 6 looks like a man administering oral sex to a giraffe.
