Subject: Do you regret being a big gamer?

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

I sort of wish I didn't waste my high school life gamin all the time instead of trying to be socially normal having the best time of my life.

This guy.

You know, when you're having a bad day, you just gotta let yourself go!

I don't play as much as I used to. Once Halo is done, I'm done with gaming.

"Hello. My name is Stephen Hawking. Physicist, cosmologist, and something of a dreamer. Although I cannot move, and I have to speak through a computer, in my mind, I am free. Free to explore the universe, and ask the big questions."

Doesn't put any regret into me-I'm a heavy gamer who also has a healthy social life through a little bit of sports, etc.
When meany of your friends live far away, gaming is justifiable as a way to hang out with them.

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

Gaming just isn't appealing to me as much and I discovered having a life is fun. How bout you guys?

How old are you? That could be possibly because you are getting out of your teenage angst stage of mind. Instead of feeling like, you are the only one who only understands how things work,
I've been out of High School now for two years. I thanked myself and video games for my life style of avoiding drama and ass hats. I still had quite a few physiological issues emerging out of High School.. but they were not of a result because of excessive gaming.. but because of interactions and situations that were not avoidable in High School.. And the many times I felt I couldn't express myself openly. I'm starting to recover that and my co-workers are starting to see how amazingly different I am.

I feel very different too. More on top of things and less imprisoned in my mind.

I know everything, I've just forgotten most of it.

Also, my XBL Gamertag is 'Wenggh', not 'A Stolen Fruit'.

It's impossible to play games and have a life?

No, it's just true with most of us

You've been antisocial almost your whole life. It isn't the gaming kika, it's you.

Yes and no.

I'm not a confident person - I have a lot of real-life friends but I'm just not confident - and video games make me able to relax and just be myself. I have a lot of fun, and I don't regret the countless hours spent in Halo 3 customs laughing the night away a couple of years ago.

But at this very particular point of my life, yes, as I need to get my head down and revise revise revise for exams I'll be taking soon. Also, I need a new laptop, and there are a ton of new games coming out in the next few months I want, but at £40 a pop it's not cheap. I need to save that money, but I badly want to spend it.

Sometimes yes i do regret it, but i am changing myself, trying to mold myself into who i want to be. You need to chase the things you want to get them, its so simple yet surprisingly hard to understand.
