There is no master race.

Fanboyism/fangirlism blinds so many in this forum, some to the point where the path to enlightenment may never be seen.

Total buddhist monk moment.

Hey when I turn into a cow can I still play video games?

I'm not a Buddhist, I'm Atheist. I'm just pointing out what I said as something a buddhist monk may say.

Yeah that was a joke.

I didn't think it was that bad :(

OT: I like my console for being more social but my computer is much more powerful. If I get into a good ARMA community then its game over for consoles.

PC don't just provide better graphics, they provide better performance. It's great to have 60+ fps on your games instead of being stuck with 30 or less on consoles.

Also, Keyboard+Mouse>Gamepad for shooters.

LOL, no. On the controller you have less buttons to press and less far to reach for each button making the gaming far easier and it sits in your hands. It feels far more natural that uncmfortabe PC gaming does.

Because you're a console gamer. You are desensitized to using a keyboard and mouse for playing to long with a controller.

Keyboard and mouse allows for precision and faster reaction times, you move as fast as you can move your mouse, not as fast as your character turns.

It's far harder to game with PC. You have to move your hands to get between all the buttons which slows you down. In your hands the games' controller is far easier too handle without having to reposition your hands. It's far easier on console. I do both so I know.

Truth. Once you see how incredibly smooth 60+ FPS gameplay is on games, you won't want to go back to consoles.

Also, Skyrim with graphics mods.
Wouldn't a person have to have a freakin' super computer to play with graphics like that???

I'm sure that NASA would require a minor upgrade to play that.

No it's not.

Why do you think PC games don't have auto aim...whereas consoles do?

Also...PC master race

PC is master race for SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many reasons.

Such as paying 200 extra dollars for two extra pixels per square inch?

I've gone over this, console people just want to play the damned game, PC people want to get the best out of it. Kind of like people that buy fancier clothing instead of easy to wear clothing.

The first video game was a console.

Just sayin.
All first games were on computers.

And all consoles are just computers with their own OS and watered down specs.

  • 01.03.2013 6:22 PM PDT

Making a PC is inconvenient. Why set up a gaming device when I could just buy an Xbox and play instantly?

I built a gaming PC with 16GB of RAM, a 2GB NVIDIA graphics card and a quad-core processor overclocked at 4GHz for just under $1,000.

Disagreed. A good gaming PC has much better texture quality, framerate, and frames per second than a console. Also there is the DirectX 11 physics engine which gives you pretty particle effects. This video shows what I'm talking about better that I can explain it.

Graphics Are Not All That Better:You guys say that the graphics on a PC are better, but I see little difference. Two or three more specks of dirt per square inch, but that's it. And before you call the consoles awful at graphics, check out Halo 4.

I'll bring the tritium laser cutters if you bring the beer!

Funny story.

The reason why Microsoft stopped with their plans to make Shadowrun a PC-Xbox360 cross over is because in play-testing mediocre PC gamers destroyed good console players.

The mouse+keyboard is objectively better for aiming than a controller.

I just wanted to attack this point because Halol 4.

Halo 4 has good graphics, sure, but the 360 can barely run 30 FPS with those graphics. A decently built PC can run those graphics better.

Consoles don't have Starcraft and Diablo so the PC is already better.

Implying that your opinion is fact. Look, I do prefer a controller for some games, but a mouse and keyboard works just as well for most games today.

I measured by reflex speed in high school a long time ago and they are shockingly slow. If I am in a shoot-first situation on Black Ops 2 I usually die.

Personally I find console gaming to be much more convenient but I do wish I had the time and money to move to PC

I have been PC gaming for years. I still can't get used to it. I picked up a console controller and was instantaneously able to use it. Therefore it is easier than the complex controls of the PC because there are less buttons so it is easier to manipulate than PC.

Ha no

You can build a PC for $350 (which is only a little bit more than a new, current gen console) that can run any game to date. Grant it not on max....but when you're ready to buy a high end GPU....you can.
