Ok so i realized the one great flaw of Halo 2 that needs to be fixed in Halo 3.
O wait I just recived a message. Crap i just got assassinated.

With that said the message notifacation needs to a either have an option to be turned off or come up in a diffrent spot other than the lower left hand corner.

Location: Outlaws' Summit.

then dont pay attention to the message

just glance the name and handle it when the game is over

Right, the thoughs should be as follows:

Is this person important?
Are they woth leaving this game to play with?

If either of these are answered 'No' then all
their name requires is a glance.

Plus, if you get assassinated while that message is there.. the person was already well within range before it poped up. If not, you were standing still.. the biggest No-No in the Halo universe.

I think he means when you get a message, it covers up your radar, making it easier to get assassinated in that short 3 second period.

Sorry about that i meant that the problem is it covers your radar and you know its so aggravating. I mean I dont know about you but it always seems to come up
when your in a firefight. So either move the message notifacation or have an
option to turn it off.

I would like an option to turn it off as well.

Solution: Unglue your eyes from your radar and try looking around a little. I have never had a problem with it. The only people who complain about these things are radar jockies who rely on that one thing to survive. This is one reason why it is so easy to sneak up on so many people these days... Or just crouch walk with cloak into a base and arm a bomb.

I dont relie on my radar 24/7 maybe 24/6 i belive sunday is a resting day. Ok But seriously your in a firfight probally both your teammates. Im picturing sanctuary at
one of the sniper spawns you jump up to get the sniper when u notice a red dot on the radar then all of a sudden the message indicator comes up and blocks the radar. I agree some what that its not really a big deal but its aggravating to have to hear the noise and know that it is there .
