BioShock, hands down.

Is a man not entitled to an insanely quotable game?

"No!' says the man on The Flood, 'It belongs to the trolls.'
'No!' says the man in the private groups, 'It belongs to us.'
'No!' says the man that lurks, 'It belongs to everyone.'
I rejected those answers; instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose... BioShock, a game where the player would not fear the enemies, where the people would not be bound by other games, Where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, BioShock can become your game as well."
Even in a forum of lies, sometimes you find truth. There is indeed a forum for all things, and now that I see you thread-to-thread and topic-to-topic, I know I cannot raise my hand against you. Does your master hear me? Trolls! You can troll me, but you will never have my lulz! My posts are not in spite or grief, that is what the lurkers will never understand. A forum for all things! A time to lurk and a time to discuss, a time to troll... and a time to... uhh.. fap?

I know mine's lame, but I had to chime in. xD

Now would you kindly just make a new one

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

I'd agree with everyone saying Bioshock if Bioshock 2 wasn't included.

Instead, I'll go with Left 4 Dead and the Arkham games.

Butt ugly ape” remarked Sergeant Johnson always making fun out of the situation even though he had been hit by a spiker round in the arm. He mustered up the strength to continue and the team moved on. The Arbiter informed him that the next room held The Prophet of Truth and this was the final room before extraction. Jun proposed that he takes a shot from a distance the prophet and they all head back to the ship bay for extraction. The team agreed on this and breached the last door…

By the gods what are you doing here, well don't just stand there man make the tea! Make yourself useful and look at my Fileshare.

Sure I'll go with mass effect, it's great when a game has a whole universe/lore built around it from the get go, true immersion there.

We should know better, because we are better.

Mass Effect, Borderlands, or Minecraft.

Uncharted. And it's not even close. Most of the games mentioned on here I've played, except the Bioshock games and Uncharted, to me, is miles above all of them.

I'm not going to argue because I haven't played them, but from what I've heard they're more "interactive movies" then they are games. by which I mean, they are very linear and only worth a few play throughs. although that may not be a bad thing if the story is as good as i've heard.
