Halo went down hill a long time ago. I'm not surprised.

So your telling me they didn't make the multiplayer side (The side people are complaining about) and yet made the campaign that everybody praises?

So why the hate on 343i? Clearly Microsoft didn't want a flop so they outsourced a lot of the stuff, I doubt 343i had a choice other than outlining what they wanted.

I'm confused. Axis Animation makes mention of doing the episodes for Spartan Ops, but not the CGI campaign stuff. Unless I'm missing something, why do you think they did all of the CGI?
Because the campaign has always been in engine cut scenes while Spartan Op's was purely CGI.

There just aren't enough moments in the day to rectify the wrongs of the past.

Doesnt surprise me at all, but still hella funny. Not purchasing anything else from 343 until i've done extensive renting and detailing.

Lies. They're in-game, like always.

Let's not pretend Bungie never made a bad game. Halo 2 sucked. They released a e3 trailer of Halo 2 before they had even started developing the game.

Campaign had too many invisiwalls, that'd be my only complain.
And then there are some not worth mentioning.

Wicked phenomenon yes? But it's not any more evil than, say... fire. It all depends on your point of view. Try to get a better understanding of things before you make your judgement.

A lot of game companies tend to do this. Otherwise the game wouldn't be finished in time.

I'm happy for you. No, 343i designed the suits and sent us the "blueprints". There was a lot of small details that 3d artist got to create, but the base design was all 343.

So, yes, 343i did design the armors. Liquid Development did the modeling/texturing/etc.

Shed loads of stuff is outsourced in AAA game development. 343i is a new, small team, so they're not going to be able to create everything at the high level of quality we see in halo 4. By Halo 5 their team will have grown substantially and they will do a lot more in house.

Quote from Confucius

By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.

So is 343 an umbrella company now ?

I'm so confused in who actually made the game Halo 4

  • 01.04.2013 2:51 AM PDT

Play. Forge. Film.

I gave up on Halo anyway, so I don't really care.

  • 01.04.2013 3:10 AM PDT

I still enjoy the game, but I'm seriously starting to lose faith in the quality of it and future sequels.

Hell, I can already tell that the next two games are going to be running on the same engine. At this point I'm just playing for the story, which I do like despite criticisms, but I'm pretty sure that the next two games are going to feature the exact same engine.

And hey, at least this way if they don't I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Bungie doesn't like French on their site.

Doesn't change the fact I like playing it time to time and enjoyed the story.
