Seriously, what person didn't play with toy guns or toy swords as a kid? This is getting bloody ridiculous. One guy shoots up a school and suddenly everyone becomes paranoid, then it wears off after a while with no real changes, cycle repeats.

I've been playing Halo since 2002. My earliest memories include hiding at the shotgun window on Damnation and killing my dad with grenades while playing co-op on Pillar of Autumn.

Next he'll forget to check 'em and get suspended for sexism when he says that girls have kooties.

GOAT

This is a step in the right direction.

The less we joke about gun violence, the closer we will come to solving this problem.

I applaud the school, and I'm glad news stations are reporting this because parents need to teach their kids that this is not in any way okay.

Friends before pixels.

That kid has good taste in TV.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

The school should have just made contact with his parents before taking that measure.

Ah my country is so silly.

Talking about real gun control is taboo. But apparently we need to control the make believe ones in video games and stuff like this.

“I didn't want to wake up. I was having a much better time asleep. And that's really sad. It was almost like a reverse nightmare, like when you wake up from a nightmare you're so relieved. I woke up into a nightmare.”

It's good he got in trouble. We need little kids to know, guns are not toys- and shouldn't be regarded as one.

I completely back up the school on this. In DBZ Vegta did a gun gesture with his hand and then he said "boom." A laser beam shot from it and killed a Namek. That school was worrying about the safety of those kids. They knew what could have happened.

This man gets it

Such a corrupted society over there. They have nothing better to be doing with the terrible education system.

It's also funny when schools use suspension as a punishment.

You think that kid cares that he doesn't have to go to school? Lol.

Kids play guns/CoD at my work all the time.. Ages 6 and up.. No one cares.. but they shouldn't being doing it at school. I'm NOT going to PARENT someone's child either. So unless they are physically hurting another student, or throwing mean words at them, there is little to no point in punishing harmless behavior.

Remember people, he's less likely to be employed in the future because when he was six, he made a gun gesture with his fingers.

It's a shame what society has become. And I'm not talking about the kid.

You want to punish a six year old by tarnishing his distant future record and life?

"OH.. you played guns when you were six I see.. We don't want to higher any pretend wannabe murder/bad guy.. bye" -_-
