Would you like to see an enemy counter in certain video games?

Let's say in Arkham City for example you have done everything there is to do. every achievements (except this one) every unlock, every mission and side mission alike complete the game brings in a enemy counter. It would basically be going around taking out every last guy left. You could reset it at any time so the game does not just die of course but it would be a nice little wrap up to stories in some games.

Thought? Ideas? Insults? OP's mother talk?

I wouldn't mind, it actually sounds pretty fun.

Name: Vien (Sven) 'Quitonm
Age: 19
Species: Sangheili
Height: 6'7"
Weight: 240 Lbs.
Eye Colour: Grey

The OP's mom is a classy lady, I believe she wears fine pearls and a beautiful red dress when she goes out to dinner at nights with a charming man as a husband.

Did I insult your family correctly?

Assassin's Creed has double counters, it adds to how a fight would really turn out. Either keep up with countering the next move or take the hit.

Not that I'm much of a gamer anymore but I do like the idea.

Yeah. The thing that gets me sometimes (again using Arkham City as an example) is a simple line like "there is still work to be done in Arkham City" ummm no, there is not. I have done everything. haha

  • 01.04.2013 12:58 AM PDT

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

Basically what I'm trying to do in Far Cry 3, but I don't know if it can be done.

  • 01.04.2013 12:58 AM PDT

Eh, might as well.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

It's not for every game, but for some that would be cool.

There just aren't enough moments in the day to rectify the wrongs of the past.

What the -blam!- are you even saying?

  • 01.04.2013 12:59 AM PDT

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

Took me a while to get it what you meant.

I mean sure, in open worlds where there are a decent amount of enemies still left in the game after you're done, why the hell not? Optional or not, it's a decent idea.

For anyone that's still confused, something that counts how many enemies you have left in the game.

Areed games like Arkham City or Splinter Cell would be good but Dead Island where you just never know would be a bad system to place in the game.

The sad past is I'm barely even drunk. Just a weak buzz. Thank you for the clarification though haha

Apparently drunk enough to not make sense to yourself! Haha, then things get goofy.

Also I assume you meant part*, not past.

Disregard video games, acquire high grades.

The world is full of mysteries, and shares too few of the answers required. An example of which, is how did I end up in the Brute Zone?

Sounds cool, thought about this kind of thing within TES games. Once you beat the story lines, just go about on a rampage.

what I got out of it was that its a mode where once you finish everything else in game, enemies stop respawning and you get a counter for how many remain in your game world, allowing you to hunt them down 1 by 1.

An enemy log would make much more sense, and how you typed out the pronounciations for both of those is incorrect.

Bare with me, I've been drinking. . . Okay take a game like Arkham City. After you beat the game (missions, side missions, everything) there is still enemies you can beat up. Would you like the game to register a counter of how many are left so you can clean the streets so to speak.

23 bad guys, best one up 22 bad guys and so on.
