This, for example. There is NO REASON to wear clothes like that other than for -blam!- reasons.

To look attractive? To feel confident? It's really not a hard concept to grasp OP. It's their body, they can wear what they want to wear. Besides, it looks like they're going to some sort of theme party. I've seen much worse at local bars and clubs, hell, I wore worse before.
No party should have a "whore" theme.

Why are you complaining about simply dressing like that? It's for attention, obviously.

My only problem is girls who whine when someone looks at them when they're dressed for attention, but that not every girl, obviously.

Actually, not only college students are doing it, but I have noticed a lot of middle school girls and high school girls are dressing more and more slutty.

It's disgusting when I go pick up kids from the schools and all I see is children half naked. Uggggh.

So this ain't just going on in my town?

I've seen pictures of school dances were 14-17 year olds are wearing the same type of clothes I see at clubs and bars. I don't understand how their parents let them go out in that stuff.

Their bras are sticking out. You can literally see their bras. Why don't they just go in only underwear then?

Do you have such a big problem about showing skin when you go to a pool or the beach?

Bikinis show more skin than underwear nowadays.

Why question and possibly ruin a good thing?

Lol. There's clothes out there which is no better than actually going out in just your underwear.

They dont dress like that all the time. When they go out to party, they want to get noticed. When I go out, I try to look my best.

Basically this.

If there was a way you can appeal more to the opposite sex, you wouldn't do it?

Well if you're gonna yell at guys who take a look despite dressing very revealingly, then you're an idiot.

lol not having the girls come up to you to check you out.

No one should ever be afraid of looking stupid, so long as they are making a rational effort to expand their understanding.

Posted by: HaloKing343
I've always known that they dress like sluts but it wasn't until I stumbled upon this Facebook page that I realized how slutty they try to be.

Why do college girls act like such sluts?
I don't understand the problem. Do you have a problem with people dressing the way they want to dress? Are you advocating an imposition of your moral values onto others?

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

So I clicked like, what are we discussing.

I was talking to one of the parents of the kids at my work and her and I were discussing this exact thing with kids these days. She did make an interesting point in that there are parents of those kids that dress just as provocatively. Which - honestly - is disgusting.

OOOOHHHHHHHHHH

I love how showing some skin = slutty to some people. In my mind, if you have a good body, what shame should there be in showing it off? It's nothing to be ashamed of, and it's complete idiocy to believe that the only motive for dressing as such is for the benefit or attracting of guys.

Sure, age should be a concern, but as long as they're, what, 17+? I don't see a problem or any reason for slut shaming.

I didn't realize this was just restricted to college girls. High school girls were no different where I went.

Whether they are doing it to attract guys or not, it is about attention. Trowing out 70% of your boobage isn't an issue of feeling good about yourself, most outfits that do as much aren't even considered comfortable by any women i've ever met.

This.

They know they arent being watched anymore, or so they think, so some total take the opportunity to whore it up while at college.

Now I don't mind when a girl walks by showing a bit of skin, but good Lord, if half of your ass is hanging out of your thong blue jean shorts and that ribbon they call a shirt is leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination and youre not at a party or about to go swimming, put on some damn clothes.
Sadly, ive seen this on girls in probably their freshman year in HS. -blam!- disgusting.

Why do we care about bras sticking out when we all go to the beach and have no problem with girls bouncing around in bikinis?

I would assume it's perception based, the idea that people are "supposed" to dress like that at a beach vs on a college campus.

Personally I couldn't care less how women dress, tells me a lot about them.

When I was in college I didn't dress like a slut.
Your opinion =/= fact

THAT'S BECAUSE AGGIE WOMEN ARE CLASSY LADIES.

I actually don't see why OP is complaining...most college girls seemed to wear normal clothes in class...anything revealing was usually saved for nights out...and I sure as hell wasn't complaining.

As is almost everyone's clothing and/or "public" style. Just because some take it further lengths than others means nothing.
