and it's complete idiocy to believe that the only motive for dressing as such is for the benefit or attracting of guys.

Whether they are doing it to attract guys or not, it is about attention.
As is almost everyone's clothing and/or "public" style. Just because some take it further lengths than others mean nothing.

No, it means they want attention, which I believe you just aknowledged. Some people equate that desire for attention as being slutty, and while I don't think that is necessarily justified some women throw away their ability to be taken seriously when they dress certain ways. Just as some men are not taken seriously, by either genders, based on their attire vs what they are doing.

"If practice makes perfect" and 'nobody's perfect,' then what's the point of practice?"

Don't question it.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

When you get a new car, you wash it frequently, keep it polished and drive slow past people you know. It's something new, something you didn't have before, and you want people to notice it and you.

Same reason for the OP's question.

I'm going to invade your heart like a barn swallow high on milk chocolate and grandma love.

Fairness is only possible within the limited powers of man. Elsewhere, there is only chance.

Thus I refute thee.

OP searches for pics of college sluts and then presents a facade of why to disguise his true lust for finding such pictures.

No...wait wait...it's more like this, right?

"I wouldn't want to sleep with that hot girl anyway, she's way below my standards. She's a slut."

LMAO! I didn't think of it that way, but you're right also.

Being serious and OT:
It is becoming harder to find a classy girl now a days though from my experience. I agree with the OP that a lot of girls dress way to skanky now a days.

What ever happened to sexy dresses and high heels? For Christ's sake! Leave something for the imagination.

This, for example. There is NO REASON to wear clothes like that other than for -blam!- reasons.

To look attractive? To feel confident? It's really not a hard concept to grasp OP. It's their body, they can wear what they want to wear. Besides, it looks like they're going to some sort of theme party. I've seen much worse at local bars and clubs, hell, I wore worse before.
No party should have a "whore" theme.

Dude, you're wayyyy too uptight.

Men aren't very imaginative creatures.

I'd rather have full disclosure before I unwrap it later that night.

Then how will you ever be surprised if you know everything already.

Tip: One of the main things for relationships to work long term is both partners need to surprise each other every once in a while.

The part I was most concerned about in college was still covered. At least most of the time.

Body doesn't really even matter too much anyway. 80% of the fun with new partners in college isn't the body, but every girl has her own different ways of acting in bed and their own little tricks. Variety in the experience more than variety in the body type.

As for partners, I wasn't really looking for anything long-term in college, and neither are most people.

Welcome to the town of "Diligence." I'm Mayor Due.

"If you got it flaunt it," is an old saying. And humans are meant to procreate, so attracting mates with sultry attire is a good way of keeping the species going. Especially since crawling around on all fours or showing off our "particular endowments" are options typically against the law in this crazy day and age of ours.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

OP, are you complaining? White knighting them from themselves?

Its a treat to see a perfect female body displayed that way. I enjoy it. I don't think they are sluts either. They are celebrating their bodies. And while they look that perfect, they should.

The real question is why so many of you are so bitter about it.
