I'm not asking for a philosophical/anthropological/biological explanation. I'm asking which thoughts invariably lead to thoughts of "I need a girlfriend/boyfriend." Choose the strongest/most frequent example.
Explanations:
To distract yourself from the finality of death.
Such terrors plague you when you're alone, so you wish to be with another to distract from that fact.
Social Pressure.
You feel like a loser when you don't have such a relationship, and/or you think your social positioning would be improved by one.
Familial Pressure.
One or both of your parents wants you to have a girlfriend/boyfriend, and you feel you need/want to live up to their wishes.
Carnal Desire.
Butts, dicks, boobs, and tits. Parts is parts and you want to be the mechanic.
Feelings of loneliness.
Similar to option one, but the cause of your uneasiness is less specific.
Financial Pressure.
While this is similar to prostitution, it may be more like killing two birds with one stone. Perhaps your financial situation has gotten so bad that you immediately think of dating as help.
I don't desire such a relationship.
Rare but not impossible, and few will believe you, mainly because they can't understand it. But then again you're probably used to that.
Other.
The system can't define me man.
