Subject: deer, one of the dumbest animals alive?

Do you believe they are? I do, I've seen them jump of bridges, run through populated areas and run through windows, not to mention they run in front of cars all the time.

Most dangerous wild-animal in North America. Responsible for more human deaths in NA than any other animal, by far.

I've had one run into my car before. Literally run into the side of it while I was driving.

Sometimes I wonder if they run into trees while bounding through the woods.

  • 01.04.2013 11:02 AM PDT

They're wild animals, what do you expect?

They refuse to wait for cars to slow before they cross the street.

Hit deer twice so far since I've been driving. One of the times totaled the vehicle.

This is true.

I go to Yosemite every year for summer vacation and the everyday idiots that attend that park think the black bears are dangerous.

I cannot tell you how many times some jamoke of parent tells his/her 6 year old kid to get closer to the deer so they can get a picture and then they wonder why the deer starts freaking out when everyone clutters around it.

No joke. I remember one year there was a deer that had strolled into camp and some dumbass lady who was standing next to me asked me if the park rangers brought the deer for us to gawk at. I just looked at her, shook my head and walked away. I could not believe I was asked that.

No, most roads cut right through migratory paths. Its just their instinct to stand still when they hear something.

I believe only mule deer do that.

No, Americans fit that description better

I've had a deer, still running, run in front of my car, two deer ran out, slowed down for the first didn't know a second would came out and ran in front of my car, think flew like 10 feet and landed on a medium.

Smaller than ours, probably.

And now we'll never know how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop.

Thanks a lot!

If we're talking dumbest animal ever, than that title to to the gopher. If they're on a road, they'll just stare blankly into an oncoming car, not even moving.
