Fair play

There has been a lot of fan-hype spread around for this game.

All I see in it is a predator type of game that is supposedly being developed for around 5 years now.

I don't know about you guys, but the fact that this game is being published by SEGA ( all their games suck IMO ) and it's long production, will most likely turn it into another Duke Nukem: Forever.

What do you see in this game?

I'll bring the tritium laser cutters if you bring the beer!

Funny story.

Looks good.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

Have you played any of the Aliens vs predators games?

They are very similar. I would go as far as to say that colonial marines is nothing more than a cheap rip-off.

Yes, I play AvP, no this won't be anything like it.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

I think it looks alright. I lied the AvP games of the past, and while this story ignores those ones, the gameplay will be similar. I will likely get it.

How is it not a rip-off?

>It's a continuation of the Alien story after the second movie
>The devs spent many days interviewing and speaking with Ridley Scott about the franchise
>Ridley Scott helped out a little with the project.
>The devs speaking with Scott gave Scott the idea to write the movie Prometheus.

Es ist Zeit für einige Gefahr-pay

I see another game falling that's going to fall flat.

I think I love you...

It's being developed by Gearbox Software.

Gearbox Software picked it up when it was dropped by it's previous developers. What was the last game they did that with?

Duke Nukem Forever.

And LOOK how that turned out... I'm not holding my breathe for this to be quality game.

I dont lie. Really.

I see a campaign that is overly scripted and short, but a multilayer which looks fun.

Pretty sure it's been with the same dev since the beginning dude. The only thing that has changed was the game engine and story.

Well from what I understand, this is the same game that cancelled for the PS2. If it isn't, then I still don't trust Gearbox as this game doesn't have "Borderlands" anywhere in the title.

The Song Of Nephilim

Xenoblade <3

It looks like a good game. Might try it out.

Aliens is one of my favourite films. As far as I see it, A:CM is the decent sequel it never got in video game form.

Forever sucked because they built it exactly how it was originally going to be built 12 years ago, so by modern standards it does suck.

Same cannot be said for Aliens.

Right, because development time is always a determiner for a game's quality; look at Diablo III. Okay, bad example. StarCraft II... um, no, that was well-received. Half-Life 2! I didn't enjoy that as much as the original.

What the hell is a 'predator type of game'?

I don't know about you guys, but the fact that this game is being published by SEGA ( all their games suck IMO )
Nice opinion you have there. Unfortunately for you, it's not shared by the majority of the industry, as some of the finest games and series ever made (Sonic the Hedgehog, Panzer Dragoon, Virtua Fighter, Nights, Jet Set Radio, Bayonetta) have been published by Sega.

and it's long production, will most likely turn it into another Duke Nukem: Forever.
Difference is, DNF was based on a series that had seen its best times in the '90s, and was built as such. Colonial Marines isn't based on any prior games, and instead builds upon the timelessly fantastic Aliens universe.

What do you see in this game?
An intense horror-shooter set in the aftermath one of my favourite films of all time.

Wait, I preferred Alien to Aliens. Then again, I haven't watched Aliens in a few years.
