Subject: Fictional Universes

Just dance 4- Lindsey Stirling

Dead-body-ologist at The U.S. Army 18th Medical Command

What are your top 3 fictional universes? Ones that you would spend extra time learning about the lore of that universe.

For me in order:

1:Halo
2:Starcraft
3:Gears of War

RIP - Mitch Lucker: October 20, 1984 - November 1, 2012

I've spent almost 9/10 of my time with Halo, so that takes No. 1. The second-longest would probably be Far Cry in general, as those characters are just un-friggin-believable. DBZ is easily No. 3.

1. Halo
2. Far Cry
3. DBZ

Mass Effect
Marvel Comics
Warcraft

Not sure on the order but those are probably the top three.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is probably my current favorite. I love the powers and style of the whole universe. I've read more than 70 volumes in a short period of time, and I've been procrastinating on finishing Stone Ocean.

Besides that, my favorites are Shin Megami Tensei and probably Marvel, although that could be replaced by DC depending on my mood.

1. Mass Effect (By far)
2. Halo
3. Warhammer

We should know better, because we are better.

1. Warhammer 40k
2. Discworld

And Halo as a distant third.

DC... eh. Hate to sound mainstream, but honestly the only things I really like about DC are Batman and the Justice League.

I don't think I could rank them...

Thought, for me, number one would definitely be Star Wars.

Star Wars is pretty cool, but I don't know, I definitely don't think I was ever in a place where I just wanted more more more Star Wars and would eat up whatever came out like when I was at the peak of enjoyment with my other favorites. Biggest problem with Star Wars is a lot of the time the expanded universe feels like they're just retreading what they did in the movies.

Edit: Ok, partially lying, I did buy a ton of Star Wars toys as a kid and lots of Star Wars video games, but it wasn't because I like the universe so much as Jedi, Stormtroopers, and Tie Fighters were cool. Not that I had actual appreciation of the settings.
