I don't think I could rank them...
Thought, for me, number one would definitely be Star Wars.
Star Wars is pretty cool, but I don't know, I definitely don't think I was ever in a place where I just wanted more more more Star Wars and would eat up whatever came out like when I was at the peak of enjoyment with my other favorites. Biggest problem with Star Wars is a lot of the time the expanded universe feels like they're just retreading what they did in the movies.
Edit: Ok, partially lying, I did buy a ton of Star Wars toys as a kid and lots of Star Wars video games, but it wasn't because I like the universe so much as Jedi, Stormtroopers, and Tie Fighters were cool. Not that I had actual appreciation of the settings.
That's true I suppose.
It's just writers' or Video game makers' attempts to make an in depth and wondrous universe, that also expands upon the galaxy the movies had created.
For example, Lightsaber fights between two Jedi Knights are done at a speed that can't be tracked by the Human eye.
It's just one of those things you have to roll with if you want to actually get into the EU.
