Simply the fastest

Look at that matte finish, the huge engines, this 90% titanium beast goes faster than the speed of sound, over 3 times at speeds of around Mach 3

My stepfather said they had little to no room inside, they were highly dangerous to fly, and the fuel literally leaked out of the craft until they reached high enough altitudes.

Signatures are for little kids.

Dude, you can't feed that thing to hungry people.

That's why grampa elites shouldn't fly planes that are 400 years old.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

The A-12, so cool and badass it wasn't until 2007 that it was known to be faster and higher flying than the SR-71 when it was declassified.

No materials could withstand the 700F and not bend while still inside the atmosphere, setting the record requires sacrifice

They didn't make the SR-71 to set records my child.

A 3/4 inch gap was needed to allow for thermal expansion. Upon takeoff, the plane had 15 minutes of fuel to refuel, then it would book it across the US and refuel again before jumping the pond.

Actually, an entire refueling wing was dedicated to the plane, with operators of high rank due to the secret classification of the aircraft.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

The Blackbird and A-12 are pretty much the coolest airplanes ever made IMO.

If you are interested in this sort of thing, I highly reccomend looking up a book on Skunkworks. (the Lockheed Martin division behind those, along with the U-2 and others)

Kelly Johnson was an amazing man!

Are you an engineer for Lockheed Martin?

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

why are there so many plane threads

If you were referring to me, no.
