1. Why? I like that there are a whole bunch of rifles in this game. I would try to balance the DMR and BR a bit better, then add a few more primary weapons like:
Silenced SMG (Tighter spread than the AR but weaker bullets. When scoped in, it fires rapid single shots similar to the Carbine that can also kill an unshielded player if targeted at the head)
SAW (Weaker version of the current SAW, with a lot more spread)
Gauss Rifle (Like the DMR but supercharged. However, it overheats like the Beam Rifle if you fire too quickly... Thus making it similar to the Reach DMR - in that you have to pace your shots - but without the whole Random Bloom aspect)
Service Rifle (Classic Battle Rifle skin, single rapid shots when zoomed like in E3 2004 demo, can fire 3 rapid shots faster than the 3 shot burst making it slightly more powerful than the BR at range but harder to use)
Needle Rifle (Similar to Reach, but maybe add an overheating effect to replace the bloom otherwise it would be too similar to the Carbine)
6. I disagree. I like Personal Loadouts. The only issue I have is that certain weapons are more powerful. I quite like the idea of making it into a points system. So when you equip a DMR, it may use up 3 points, while an Assault Rifle uses up 2 (let's face it, DMR >> AR). So you can trade off an Armour Ability for more powerful tactical packages, weapons or extra grenades.
This way, they can also patch in a change to how much a weapon costs to equip, without having to re-tweak the weapon.
I also would like it if you could make separate loadouts for separate playlists. So maybe three loadouts are universal. But you have to build a loadout for Spartan Ops that wouldn't show up in Team Slayer and vice versa.
9. Having totally different texture packs for one map isn't really feasible. That's a lot of memory. It's better to just provide different Forge maps with different locales, which is what they've already done with Ravine vs Impact.
16. Disagree with lowering player speed. The maps are bigger because of Sprint, not base player speed. However, I don't want them to replace Sprint. They could maybe tweak it a little or add perks that make you able to slow down a sprinting player a lot more with your shots. If you lower base speed, strafing becomes less important and it becomes too easy to shoot with precision weapons.
18. EMP Grenades would be too powerful vs Vehicles. I think Pulse Grenades are good, they're just a bit weak. They could maybe have them stick to players like Plasmas, and do a ton more damage when they first burst open, and finally explode.
24. There is a gold visor. I can't remember which specialisation unlocks it though.
27. The Oddball looks fine as it is.
28. I don't even understand this one.
I kind of agree or wholeheartedly agree with everything except these ones I've replied to.
