Anything from Germany

Or the mini, which I think is owned by a German company anyway now.

Volkswagen or Audi, IMO. I could be bias because I work for a VW/Audi dealership.

I've had a few issues with my VW Polo, but it's out of warranty and the parts that have needed replacing are typically things that need attention when being serviced, so it's more the mechanics than the car. I had to get an exhaust valve replaced before Christmas because it had cracked, and the mechanic told me the rest of the exhaust system looked brand new. Talk about chuffed. It's an 8-year-old car.

Without a sign, his sword the brave man draws, and asks no omen but his country's cause

Never had a major problem with any Ford I ever owned.

My Jeep was a money pit though.

GM and Honda are the most reliable.

Meepzoid

I heard ford was pretty good.

I can tell you which ones aren't:
-VW. My mom had a Eos in 2007, PoS would have so many problems for the 2 years we had it. The convertable/ roof broke in the middle of converting. The wind breaker broke first day, one of the windows would not roll down completely, the list actually goes.

-Dodge. I have a 1999 Durango and honestly it's a love-hate relationship. I like it because it's big but the trade is that it CHUGS gas and for some strange reason, it will stall way too often than before when I put my foot on the accelerator. I also was looking at cars a while ago, while the Ram looks nice, it's got nothing compared to the F150

This... not to mention it saved my mom's and dad's lives life when they got hit by reckless drivers on three separate occasions.

I'm pretty sure I heard that for as long as they've been making the VTEC engine, they haven't had a warranty claim.
