So I was playing Borderlands 2, and I decided to try out a different save than my normal character (a level 22 assassin). I hit "new character" thinking it would simply start a new save. After all, most games with multiple ways to play through work like this. What actually happened, was my level 1 Siren overwrote my old save. Is there any way to get my old save back? I had a decent amount of money and weapons (for my level), and I really don't want to have to work through everything again (about 26 hours of playtime) to get to a similar place to where I was.

How many saves have you already used?
Maybe because you already took all the available save slots, and it overwritten one of your other save files.

The only save I had was my Assassin.
