You're joking right? The only good cars in the past were the muscle cars.
lol no.

Whatever. Opinions. I don't have time to argue.

What exactly was good in a muscle car besides the engine?

Horrid handling, bad reliability, horrid gas milage.

Only good cars? No. Good cars, yeah! Muscle cars aren't bad.

Muscle cars are fun in their own way but they're not the only good old cars, not by a long shot.

~Thread-killer~

As far as build quality goes, some lines of older vehicles are far better. My old Chevy was built like a tank. Some of the newer vehicles just seem to be carelessly made.

You've got to be joking. Whether you decide electronics in your car are distractions is completely up to you, here's a thought: Learn how to use them while parked instead of speeding down the freeway and then it might not be such a nerve-racking experience.

As for build quality, this is a common misconception. It's true that older cars can seem to be built like tanks compared to newer ones which crumple up far more easily. There is a reason for this. When you are in an accident, a car with specially designed crumple zones (which by law is most cars today) will allow the energy of the collision to be channeled around you through the car instead of straight to you where you'll have a higher chance of dying.

The result of this? Your car looks like a completely piece of -blam!- after crashing into a tree, but you're alive. As opposed to what happens in some older cars where only the front is dented in a bit but you've been thrown into the windshield with your skull cracked.
