13.72 billion years in the making.

On December 1st, 2012, I met Neil deGrasse Tyson. I shook the man's hand, and even made him laugh. Not much else to do with my life now.

"Hello, Mark," said Jimmy, as he shifted his stance, "You look hot as hell today!"

Like that.

"Hello! How are you"

Man turns around,"Hi, I am well!"

  • 01.05.2013 2:23 PM PDT

I don't understand what you are asking?

Well you could do with, at least, the 'he/she/it said' in there somewhere.

Otherwise you'd do it by starting a new line for every time they switch between who's talking.

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.

Well if there's no actions, you just write the dialogue. Since your characters are probably not robots, it is likely that they move around when they talk, make different facial expressions or change their tone of voice...

"Hello, Mark," said Jimmy, as he shifted his stance, blinked one and half times, twitched his lower mouth muscle, fingers laced tightly, feet pointed in towards each other with toes clenched, constipated, a lack of oxygen and feeling slightly light headed as a hair fell out compounding his receding hair line problem, "You look hot as hell today!"
