A Georgia mother and her two children are unharmed after a man broke into their house with a crowbar on Friday, corning them in an attic crawlspace

According to WSB-TV, the woman was at home with her nine-year-old twins when the doorbell rang. When they didn't answer, the man reportedly went back to his car and returned with a crowbar.

The mother said she could see the suspect- now identified as Paul Slater- trying to enter the house with the crowbar from her office window. Without hesitation, she grabbed her children, her phone, her gun, and ran upstairs.

In other news, 4 hostages were killed recently....

Don't dumb burglars know that almost everyone has a gun in their home or office so not worth risking robbing the place?

It's a lose/lose situation. They either end up getting shot or getting caught and arrested.

Or both...

But still, that's a win/win!

Many times yes, but when you are down on your luck or just pissed off, are you really thinking about the future? Or just about how you are going to get through the day.

The woman then shot him five times, but he survived, Chapman said. He said the woman ran out of bullets but threatened to shoot the intruder if he moved.
"She's standing over him, and she realizes she's fired all six rounds. And the guy's telling her to quit shooting," Chapman said.

Close, but the plague killed those infected with it, and the ignorant are still alive.

Maybe one of the shots missed, so she fired 6 shots, but only 5 hit the guy.

How do you know? It's not like household objects such as lamps, knives, beer bottles etc are banned here too.

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

FOX News coverage: "The man with the crowbar has been likened to that of the fictional video game character Gordon Freeman in the violent shooter Half-Life. It's once again clear that the video game industry has poisoned the minds of not just vulnerable youths, but tax paying adults. Will the violence surrounding video games ever end?"

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

when you get your license to carry and if you go to any safety course, your generally told to unload the clip or until he stops moving. You also can't blame the women for be a little jumpy with the trigger a man just broke into their house with a crowbar

and because the media has a political slant to where it almost never reports when guns are used for good. it only reports the bad, which is(statistically) a far rarer occurrence than the good uses, but then again sensationalist snakeoil men can control people for politicians.
