Could you beat them in an athletic activity like lifting?

I fail to see the relevance.

They're athletic.

One of the "fat" guys you posted can run a 40 in 5 seconds.

Seems pretty athletic to me.

American football is boring as hell...I'd much rather play soccer any day.

Hows it boring?

Theres more than 3 scores a game.
Whats the average score in a football game?21-7?27-14?Thats about 4-6 scores a game. Not much more than an average soccer game

First, because handegg gives you more points per score and second because the quantity of goals matter? Soccer is so much more fun playing IMO because the playing is constant. It's not just trying to remember each play you have prepared for each game. You actually have to improvise which makes it fun compared to handegg.

That's just how I see it anyways. Sure the kind of soccer you see in the MLS makes you yawn but I'm just talking about which sport I prefer playing.

You dont have to improvise in football? You're crazy and must have never played it.

I agree the MLS is a joke. But so is the EPL.

Nothing compares to an NFL game.

On average 42 points are scored by both teams combined in an average NFL game

It's better than American football. Soccer has a lot of acting on the field but it's much better than dudes tackling and rubbing each other.

I'm going to agree, I watched a bit of your nfl, god that was -blam!- boring. They play until the carrier gets tackled, stop and talk for a bit, then start playing again until the ball carrier gets tackled. Repeat the process over and over. I could only watch it for no more then five minutes.

I like soccer more than football (hockey is the best) but football is a sport that you really have to understand to enjoy. Once you understand the roles of each position and the basic plays a team will use the game becomes enjoyable to watch. Once you understand the advanced plays the game is amazing.

And from FOX, two phantoms were born.

The bungie.net community is the halo PC community that is renowned for being unbelieveably sucky.

Good club teams are fun to watch. Then some guy gets touched and pretends to be dying for 5 minutes on the field and it's ruined. If they could stop that crap, it might do better here in the USA. Seriously, they could implement a rule like the guy has to sub out if he's "hurt." I bet that would stop a lot of the lame faking of injuries.

So my 27-14 score was about right,And I wouldnt count field goals as scoring.I dont have a problem with the low scoring in soccer. In my opinion its much more exciting

When 300 pound men who can run 4.5 40's are running full speed trying to kill you, yes you need padding.

Football was actually played without padding when it first started. Then they started requiring it after people were getting killed.

Agreed. All the changes are good and add variety. Do we really want another Halo 3? Just running around with one gun and no armor abilities? It's good that 343 wants to try something new. Do we really want the same thing for three more games?

Only an idiot would think that's a serious video.

Mate, here in Australia our NRL guys don't need padding, they also don't stop for five minutes after each play to catch their breath. They get straight back up after a tackle and play on. Their also way more fit then NFL players, your guys wouldn't last the full 80 minutes over here.

Or even freaking rugby.

Also AFL requires a lot of movement so I doubt the NFL players can catch up

And you think your guys would last over here? Doubt it.

You cant put rugby players in football or football players in rugby and expect them to succeed.
