Comcast went to hell and is cutting out my Internet every 5 minutes, so I got tired of it and tethered my Xbox to my phone. Where I live I get 1 bar of regular, non 3G data, and am currently pulling .3Mbps. I am connected to Live but cannot join parties and friends have to join me.

Do I have good enough Internet to where I could play on live comfortably?

How bad has your Internet been?

[EDIT] I just speedtested again and I'm pulling .08Mbps download, .01Mbps up. 742 ping

[EDIT 2] My screencap finally uploaded. Look at the connection for yourself.

Now sit down and pull your pants back up.

No. Just no. You can't really even do it off of 3mbps

You can easily get bye with 1.5 down as long as no one is sharing. Xbox doesn't use much bandwith at all.

Course you can. When i lived with my parents LIVE worked perfectly well on their -blam!- 2MBpS. Downloading stuff took all day, but LIVE worked without a hitch

No, you'll also lag like hell as 3G = high latency.

You can thank round trip timing for that. I remember when I had 40/40 and still never got host but the game could still lag because of a horrible host. This is why we NEED server lists.

you are the kind of players in black Ops II that makes lag compensation a nightmare for those of us who have good internet. Just do us all a favor and don't get on xbox lol

You should go on just to annoy other players.

That's like 100 KB/sec downloading speed. It's fine I guess.

1Mbps downstream should be adequate for most games.

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

Apparently the connection is so slow that while I'm connected to live, halo 4 servers think I'm disconnected.

I'm just playing Banjo Kazooie instead now.

Always 3 barring in black ops 2 with 5mbps down and .5 upload. I'm guessing that's terrible internet connection
