Forerunners. knowbody knows what they are and neather do i, But I can tell you that THEY ARE STILL ALIVE AND KICKIN! and this is how i know. the forerunners built the ark right? but for what? to activate all the rings! Right but there is anouther perpous. If you have herd of the story noas ark then thats where it stats to come together. noah built his"Ark" tho escape the "flood"! Its that simple. The forerunners built the ark because they knew the "flood" was going to eventualy Drown them, and they are still in the Ark trying to keep the flood away from them. thats why you can activate all the rings from the Ark, incase the flood find away in. But no i dont think there will be 2 of every animal from the halos on it!

There you have it! that has got to be it, and if it is wrong and the names Ark and flood were just a quincidence I think bungie will put this on there front page just because i was so clever. And because im cute!

You realise this has been said about........a million times right? Although they come in many different sizes and shapes, it always ends up saying "ZOMG TEH FORERUNNERS ARE ALYV LAWLZ!!!1111ONE" As for some of the other stuff in there.....they just don't make sense.
God this forum needs a search button.....

firstly this is the tenth thread ive read with this theory
secondly if the foruner could build a structure to protect them from the flood then they wouldnt build halos!
theyd just build a ring world that is a city that protects them from the flood.

Why, do u think they want to spend there in tire lives iside the ark? the rings are to destroy the flood so they can finaly come out of hiding!

uuhmmm... old?

Seriously, you had something there, but you stopped going in the right direction... Just go to google maps, zoom all the way into your house, then slowly zoom out. You'll see how many people there are in the world, and you aren't special.
lol k?

Your so smart.

I didn't think one could possess a "so". Anyways, I think that your theory does have some logic, but it's nothing that hasn't been thought of.
