When Ripley opened the airlock on the Sulaco to throw the Alien queen out into space, wouldn't that have killed her and Newt? Unless the ship had some crazy tech...

wouldn't you be more concerned that the sheer force of the vaccuum of space didn't suck Ripley out of the airlock with the Alien Queen ?

Nope, not true at all. You might get the bends though.

Contrary to popular belief the vacuum isn't instantly deadly to humans, we can survive 15-30 seconds without serious adverse effects.
