Subject: Why hasn't anyone gone back to the moon?

Because we actually encountered an alien species known as the Moon Women who captured all the astronauts from the last moon mission and sent back clones in their place. Now the governments dont want to risk more human lives for the Moon Women to capture as snusnu slaves.

And besides those missions are expensive.

No. I heard it was terrible. I was however looking at the moon with my binoculars because I have no life or girlfriend.

I keep seeing this come up as if the 11 billion we spend on "National defense" isn't an excess amount of money.

Because governments do not yet realize the value of Helium 3 - but, we also don't have an efficient way to use it yet, either.

If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

I'm guessing the "11 billion" was supposed to have a '7' in front of it?

Maybe they didn't see anything. Why would they need to go back if nothing is there?

Helium 3.

I remember reading somewhere that the amount of Helium 3 on Mars is still believed to be low. I don't think it warrants spending lots of money to just mine Helium 3 if there isn't that much of it on the moon.

NASA's working on other plans at the moment.

I think, at this point, NASA should be working on exploring more of the solar system rather than digging mines on the moon, for the time being.

One does not simply trolololol into Mordor.

We're whalers on the moon, we carry a harpoon, but there ain't no whales so we sing tall tales, we're whalers on the moon!

$2.6 billion
Ouch, that hurts. I mean space exploration is great, but man that's expensive.

The costs are way to high man.

Which is funny because NASA get's no funding whatsoever compared to the ridiculous amount of military spending america does.

If we reduced military spending to a third and put that money into NASA,Schools, and medicine i can't even imagine...

Government is too foolish.
