Subject: When people go to space, where do they get the air?

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

On the international space station for example. People are up there for a long long time, where does all the air come from? It's not like they do air deliveries every so often, so how do they keep breathing? Surely there isn't enough space on the space station to store enough air to last them for months.

You know what's even worse?

When the boy you like has a girlfriend.

I bet they have like, tiny trees in the rooms, or something.

there's a really long tube that connects the ISS to the Earth, that's how they get their air and when it's time to go home just strap on a parachute and down the tube they go !

I was thinking this too. Probably have a little green room in the undercarriage of the shuttle.

What if I told you...

I hate you

recycled air, I guess, same thing with the water.

I would guess some sort of air recycling contraption. Turn the carbon dioxide into oxygen. Maybe they have plants up there?

It's so obvious now! That's pretty clever.

You do realize that even though trees produce oxygen, they don't produce enough breathable air by themselves to support human passengers, much less than the 7 man crew of a space shuttle.

If only there was someone as egotistical and funny as my clone.

oh wait.

Scrubbers recycle the carbon dioxide breathed out and turn it back into breathable oxygen.

I've always wondered about that.

You have an excellent sense of sarcasm, congratulations!
