One does not choose a destiny, his destiny is bestowed, shaped and formed, from the soul.

For example, I'm a Manchester United fan. Now, if I see a person wearing a Man City jersey (aka...nvm it's not appropriate) ill give them a dirty stare, or even confront them. If I'm in the same room as someone with a Man City jersey, arguments will start, and very quickly. In fact, if we ever hold a FIFA tournament at my house if there are people who like teams of whom are their own rivals, that they cannot play in the same room or against each other. And during the title race last year...don't even get me started

So how passionate are you for your team, and to what extent?

I want my favorite sports teams to win, but I'm not very passionate. I am quick to criticize every mistake they make.

I think everyone on the opposing team is a villain because I happen to live in this particular region!

As an Arsenal fan, if I see a Tottenham fan I usually brutally attack them. Just kidding.

If I see a fan of a rival team, banter usually happens. And a lot of it. I also go to 75% of games. Home and away. (went to the 8-2 loss last season -_-)

She said no.

Rather ironic how Man U fans now chant his name and praise him for all the abuse and offensive things being chanted towards him last season.

Also; One man team.

I've never really been devoted to a sports team. Hell, I rarely watch sports anyways.

The guy who's not scored a single prem goal outside of the 6 yard box?

Ruud van Nistelrooy v2.

What's happened with Rooney? Gotta get another hair transplant?

he can't hear you from the top of his massive 16 goal mountain

Ok, that was a cheap shot. The man is beyond respectable. Also I forgot, maybe hamstring or groin.

Ah an overseas fan. Avoid United home games, the crowd is usually quiet, unless Arsenal are there then you can hear our glorious away fans.

We are civilized, and also were not entirely quiet, I'd say we chant more often then most teams. But when I do go to Europe, ill be going to many, many, many games at old Trafford. And all over Europe.

  • 01.05.2013 11:11 PM PDT

For soccer I like Real Madrid but I haven't watched club socccer in a while. For Football I live in Michigan and you know how good the Lions are, the Redwings won't even play, don't even know about the Pistons so not very passionate at all.

I would honestly recommend away games over home games. Nothing beats travelling with fellow away fans, chanting on trains/buses and when you arrive at the stadium and the home fans are chanting etc you just want to chant louder. Good adrenaline buzz.

Nothing beats derby days either. So Man City vs Man United should be one of the games you aim to attend. A different type of crowd turns up on derby days.

I remember when I went to the Bernabéu. Beautiful stadium. And their crowd is loud. Something to be expected from 85k fans.

Lets just say, I'm one of the reasons the LSU band can't play "neck" at football games anymore.

That was my main goal. If I go its with my brothers and its going to be a whole season. So many derby matches will be attended. Also, I wouldn't last long amongst a mass of man city fans, whom are the scum of the earth. Coin throwing savages. I'd probably go crazy, but then be stopped by the mass wall of police jackets in between sections haha

It really isn't that bad. The coin throwing was just a build up of emotions from the last minute winner. If you want crazy fans, go to champions league games in Germany/Italy. They have some of the craziest, most passionate fans from any sport on the planet.

Is football/soccer growing out in the US as much as people say it is?

The MLS is gaining popularity and then we have the NASL on a revival run. So I'd say its getting more popular which is something I've been waiting for, for a while.

Also did you hear about Pato and what happend to Boateng and the squad? My game worn Pato jersey is worth a lot more know. Not much longer till my Rooney jersey does the same
