As in during high school. A lot of times people make a big deal over dating older/younger people during this time. Have you ever done anything like this during high school? I wouldn't really count middle school or college.

No but I would not mind marrying someone older.

This is completely normal at my school.

Actually not really. All of my girlfriends were a year older. The only problem is when a senior dates a freshman which is borderline -blam!-.

The human element always mucks things up.

I bet she watches Happy Days and knits sweaters for you and your friends too.

@Geegs30

A year difference in high school ain't a big deal, unless one of the two is just a gold digger and wants to date the other to get chauffeured around by the legal driver.

My ex girlfriend was three years older than me.

and the first chick I dated was one.

Dated a girl a year older than me during my junior year, and dated a girl maybe about two and a half years younger than me during my senior year...that relationship is actually still going. One year anniversary coming up in a week and one day. :)

I started dating my lady friend when I was 17 and she was 14. Quite a large age difference, but it doesn't really matter now that we're in our 20s.

Ah, the internet. Where men are men, women are men, and children are the FBI.

My current, and only, girlfriend during high school was a year younger than me. No one really cares unless the difference is like 4 years (I had a friend in 10th grade dating an 8th grader).

Just call me Najar.

Since something like a couple years ago, I think since I'm in college, I've always dated girls older than me, really don't see nothing weird with it now, but it was my rule that they had to be younger.
Now don't know why but it's the way it has happened and i kinda like it. Not necessarily an exact year, but sometimes 6 months, a year, two-three years but they have always been a little older.

I dated an eighteen year-old when I myself was only fourteen.

Let's just say it was an interesting experience.
