Subject: What languages are the best to know if you start travelling the world?

Never make me angry. I am a Hitman and I can easily find you and take you out.

The best I know is dutch and I know English a little bit. What other languages could come in handy that are not too difficult to learn later?

Mandarin, Spanish, and French are the most useful. Perhaps German if you're traveling exclusively in Europe.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Recon Number 54 -
If they are still looking, then while holding the snarl, I let drool start to drip from my mouth, I stand, curl my fingers into claws and with a hunched over crouch, I then make slow and deliberate steps towards them. When I get close enough, I let them hear my agonized and gasping growls and then, if they continue to stare, when I get within arm's reach? I kiss them on the nose, and run away giggling.

English is the most useful and should be fairly easy to learn well since Dutch is quite similar.

After that, Spanish would be the number two on the most important since that would give you a fair chance in any latin american country, spain or mexico.

But every country will have plenty of english speakers so if you get a decent grip on that you will do ok :D

Just call me Najar.

I'd go for Spanish, French, German and maybe Chinese or Japanese.
But perfect your English, right now is the best you can learn.

English and German. These are the only languages you will never need to know if you travel in the Americas, Europe and Africa. Heck, you would be fine with just knowing English for traveling the world.

German?? Really?

If you know English, French and Spanish, you're set for all of America (except Brazil), almost all of Africa and a good chunk of Europe.

I'm fluent in English and French and I can more or less hold a slow conversation in Spanish.

Most countries in Europe besides France learn German.
