Subject: Near the end of Forrest Gump

Name's John. I'm a 21-year-old firefighter/EMT from lolhio who doubles as a die-hard Halo fan. I've been enjoying the franchise since 2001. My favorite iteration of Halo would have to be Halo 2 simply because I never got to experience the joy of a full-on Halo: CE LAN.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, and boot Zome.

OP just finished eating at Bubba Gump Shrimp and the waiter obviously asked his table a question he didn't know.

>2013
>Not getting 100% on Forrest Gump trivia quizzes at Bubba Gump's

What are they teaching kids in school these days?

What does that have to do with school? Oh wait, you're making a desperate attempt to flame bait.

Or it was simply a joke...

Remember what those are? I think maybe you need to take a break from the Flood.

The cocking of the head from Forrest and little Forrest. They both do it exactly the same, at the same time. The makers of the movie showed this specifically.

means nada

No, it means a lot, actually. Enough so that the makers of the film showed it not once, but twice. Sorry, my evidence actually exists where as you are just throwing out clever ideas.

You are probably just trolling, anyhow. You threw out the comment so casually that now I think you are.

It was his son in the books.
It was his son in the movies.

Get a grip, people. I think if she "tricked" him it would be made a bit more obvious in the plot than just be subject to interpretation.

The novel and the movie are different anyways so the novel isn't even a solid source to use when attempting to explain the happenings of the movie. In the novel Forrest doesn't even keep his son and Jenny takes care of Jr. with her husband, and she doesn't die. On top of that there was no evidence in the book to say for sure that Forrest Jr. was his son, other than Jenny telling him that he named him after forest, because it was supposedly his. But who's to say that she wasn't lying then either?

tl;dr quit comparing the novel to the movie

That could mean nothing entirely. People also have dopplegangers all around the world from every nationality, but that doesn't mean one of your doubles is related to you. The way they were cocking their heads was just pure coincedence.

Do you ever look at your own posts? You are constantly arguing and degrading people over asinine crap on a video game forum, like that is profound or productive. Hypocrite much?

Have you looked at where you are? You're on a game developer's off-topic forum. What's more is you're getting visibly upset over blatantly obvious jokes on said forum. THAT is what's pretty retarded, IMO.

Or was I mistaken when I was under the impression that movies could be discussed in the off-topic forum? How about I go create another gun control topic so we can regurgitate the same old tired arguments for the thousandth time?

Currently studying Computer Science & Software engineering. Hope to work on mobile devices of the future! When a certain game's credits roll, look out for my name! ;)

You will -blam!- bricks when you see what game it is! =)

People also have dopplegangers all around the world from every nationality.
You're going to have to supply proof for that wild claim.

The way they were cocking their heads was just pure coincedence. No it's not.

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

You know, I was doing some thinking the other day, about Quantum Mechanics. And if I remember correctly, there's a law or something somewhere that states there is an extremely tiny chance that something ridiculous can happen in the universe, but the odds are waaaaaay out there.

So then I got to thinking, what if, one day, life wasn't a box of chocolates, but a box of dicks?
