I like Halo 4 and all, but it gets boring, I see the same thing everyday. So I decide to jump onto BF3, and god. It's still amazing, the graphics, the maps, the combat, the realism. It's just so fun and you see new things everyday.

But that's my opinion, yours?

Oh, who also moved back to BF3 after the Halo 4 disappointment?

BFBC2 > BF3

Don't know much about BFBC2 considering BF3 was my first BF title.

3rd edition. Now with more grunt.

TFS 4 lyfe

BF3 can be fantastic, but as a whole package, it is a bad game. The single player is without doubt one of the worst of this decade, miles behind COD, and the co-op is even worse than spartan ops. They also decided to CODify it even more than Halo, and the emphasis on rush over conquest is an absolute sell out. Also, most of the vanilla maps are down right terrible. And whoever thought it would be a good idea to let people just teleport into vehicles is a moron.

However, conquest on oman is one of the best gaming experiences out there.

I can't stand the prone mechanic in BF3. It is one of the biggest peeves I have in that game.

Really?
BF3?

Its horrible.

Battlefield 3

Both were not even near as good as they were said out to be.
With less destruction in Battlefield and more reflex shooting element I was quite let down from Bad company 2.
For Halo 4 I guess it was the randomness that pushed me to turn it in. With that bullet magnetism made those that were decent before good now.
I conclusion they both suck.

Neither, they are both terrible. Halo 4 is full to the brim of casual nonsense and little flaws, but Battlefield 3 is just awful. It's a generic 'realistic' (lol) reflex shooter where whoever shoots first wins and aiming is pathetically easy because of how slow you move.

Everyone always tries to argue how realistic BF3 is - but it isn't. BF3 has good graphics, and not much else. I never realised respawning was realistic. Or healing bullet wounds with a defib. Or health being measured as a percentage. Or bullet wounds regenerating over time. Or being able to put floating orange arrows over enemies heads.

As soon as you mention these things to a BF3 realism fanboy, they realise that perhaps BF3 isn't so realistic after all. But that's because it's for 'good gameplay'.

TL;DR BF3 tried to balance realism with gameplay and ended up doing them both horribly.

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

I haven't played Battlefield 3 since the few months after release when I traded it in. But looking back on it then and with the stuff now. That game has a hell of a lot more replay value. I regret trading it in. I was getting sick of Halo with 3, Reach made it worse and 4 was the hammer. The small map sizes, low player count and weapon times got repetitive and boring to me.

The more I say Chang the more asian it sounds.

I love BF3, but the only setback is the amount of huge updates you have to download that comes up about every two weeks or so.

I felt the same way about BF3. I liked Bad Company 2 a LOT more.

Halo 4 is nowhere near on par with the trilogy, but I still enjoy it usually.

hmm

Never played BF3, BFBC2 was the last game I played in the series and I loved it. Even so, Halo 4 wins by default.

I'd have to give it to Battlefield 3.

BF3 MP > H4 MP

BF3 co-op > H4 Co-op

BF3 campaign < Halo 4 campaign

I thought BF3 co-op was horrible and downright painful to play.

BFBC2 still trumps both.

At least you're given completely different objectives in each mission, and with them different ways to play. With Spartan Ops, you're given the same objectives on the same maps recycled over and over again.

Plus, Palmer is annoying to listen to.
