FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! STOP REMAKING GREAT FILMS!!!

SO -blam!- TIRED OF MY -blam!- CHILDHOOD FLICKS GETTING -blam!- OVER BY DIP--blam!-, UNIMAGINATIVE -blam!-S WHO MAKE MOVIES ALMOST COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO THE -blam!- ORIGINAL, THEN SLAPPING A POPULAR TITLE ON IT!

YES.. I'M -blam!- MAD.

They went too far this time.

They went to far.

U mad?
Not as much as I was playing along with there. But a little, yeah. It's a terrible idea to remake classic films for a new generation. It's more of a slap in the face when they don't even bother to keep the original tone of the film for the remake.

Evil Dead is supposed to be campy, over the top, and so horrible it's great. That's what made the original a cult classic. They tried so hard to make the original a scary, gory flick, but failed. Had it been that way, it would have been forgotten along with the other several hundred gore flicks of the time.

Remaking it as an actual "good" movie is a disgrace.

I prefer to think of it as a "reimagining" and that it will be completely and utterly different to the original Evil Dead then I will like both. For different reasons.

"I actually don't hold a grudge against someone talking trash about me if they're shot afterwards, I try to rise above that "

Gordon Freeman, Freeman's Mind

Well, that was a lot of blood by the end.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

I just want them to work the laughing furniture scene in somehow.

Soul of the mind, key to life's ether
Soul of the lost, withdrawn from its vessel
May strength be granted so the world might be mended...
So the world might be mended...

If they keep the campy B-movie quality of it I think it'll be a decent remake. The blood, mainly when the one girl vomits on the other, looks like it could be B-movie quality. Also, it didn't look like the CGI blood that's so common these days unless I'm just blind..

Yeah but I doubt they'll be remaking the whole trilogy, so I'm hoping they just get all the best parts they can into this one movie instead of counting on a sequel.
