People didn't like that one? I thought it was pretty good and everyone I asked about it thought it was good too.

Not necessarily one everyone hates, just one no one really gives a chance, but I wished more people enjoyed Warrior.

I liked Prometheus, and so did a lot of people I knew. I probably enjoyed it more because I didn't know it was connected to the Alien series until over half way into the movie (yep, I somehow missed that entirely). And I've only seen Alien anyway, so I'm not 100% on the entire Alien series lore.

Brought it up because apparently a lot of people on the internet thought it was bad.

A competitive players main goal is to win.
A casuals main goal is to have fun regardless of whether that results in a win or loss.
It has nothing to do with individual skill or knowledge, it has to do with the reason you play.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I thought The Fifth Element was brill.

It had Beethoven, Bilbo Baggins, John McClane and some barely dressed model who talked funny. And there's the "meat popsicle" line.

What's not to like?

Which has lines like "moooltipass" "the red button" scene, and "who else wants to negotiate?"

Sorry, it IS brill.

Punch Drunk Love. I know a lot of people who don't like this movie. It's not a perfect movie but it is a good one and it's Adam Sandler in a bit different role than he usually plays.

It was pretty good, but I think it could do without the pudding subplot.

Most people thought The Grey was just going to be a movie about Liam Neeson punching wolves in the face, and honestly that's what I was expecting of it too. But I'm glad I was wrong, I think it's a pretty awesome movie.

"Team shoot the wraith!"
"What's a team shoot and what's a wraith?!"
"It means we all shoot at the big blue thing together!"
"Okay!"

Watchmen, it wasn't universally panned (some critics applaud it for being the best superhero movie ever, others absolutely hate it), but I love it. I wouldn't say its a perfect movie but it's definitely better than any other superhero movie I've seen (yes, including the dark knight.)

Also, transformers. I don't think its cinema gold or anything but there is no way transformers 3 deserves a 36% rating when the avengers has a 92%, they're essentially the same movie.

Super Mario Bros. when I was a kid. I still feel nostalgic watching it, but I now realize it has absolutely nothing to do with the video game and is the sole reason why we will never have another Nintendo movie :(

Remember the Super Mario Bros Super Show? The animated series that ran for a few years. It bombed in the ratings, but I loved it.

I also like Jurassic Park III, which a lot of people dislike.

The Butterfly Effect. Don't watch it on cable. Go rent the uncensored version, they really are two different movies.
