Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I could watch any of the post-war, pre-60's made for theater showing versions from WB, MGM and other classic studios all day long.

Over and over and over. It would be like spending a day walking through an art museum.

Now try how and why."

BE HUMAN

Fight for Earth. Fight for Humanity.

OP, I was born in 1995, and Tom and Jerry is my favorite cartoon of all time. I still watch it (with my little brother, of course)

But you gotta love Pingu <3

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Studies show that men think about sex every 7 seconds. I do my best to eat hotdogs in under 6, just so things don't get weird.

Please allow me to introduce Myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

That's like...your opinion..

I can stand them but the really old ones are just weird.

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank god that such men lived. ----------- No Bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country. (both by George S. Patton jr.)

The Snafu Series is pretty good I think these were used in WWII as a propaganda tool. They are still pretty interesting.

All that is needed for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

Old things are bad if you didn't grow up watching/playing them.

Ex: I can't even play games like Mario, Sonic, or Zelda.

Pretty much this. Although I do admit that old cartoons tend to suck as well. They're geared for young children. The best of the best are Looney Tunes from the forties and fifties. Gotta love the uncensored racism.

I kinda agree with the Jetsons and Flintstones. They sort of haven't aged well. I can see why many people like them, but that just isn't my thing. Loony Toons and Tom and Jerry however, are just fun to watch.

Stuff like Tom and Jerry, Flinstones, Jetsons, etc. I cannot watch them or finish an episode of them. I just think they're so bad.

I'd rather watch shows that are deemed "Crap" like iCarly, Victorious, and the like.

You're disgusting. GET OUT OF HERE YOU USELESS PIECE OF FILTH!

Guess I'm not a fan of constant slapstick.

I like to play Reach for fun. I hate MLG, campers, armor lock, and team killers because they ruin that fun. Deal with it.

Tom and Jerry was the birth of cartoons as we know them today. Don't disrespect it.

Tom & Jerry is still the best cartoon ever made.

Currently studying Computer Science & Software engineering. Hope to work on mobile devices of the future! When a certain game's credits roll, look out for my name! ;)

You will -blam!- bricks when you see what game it is! =)

If this is a troll attempt - 5/10; would let rustles be jimmied again.

If you genuanely mean it - justin Bieber/10; bad opinion is bad.

Likewise, I can see what you mean. Its pretty formulaic. It definitely works, but it definitely also shows that unless your a fan of the style, it gets tired real fast as there is little else going for it.

Just remember that no matter how terrible you feel, or how much you want to let go, there are people who care about you and love you.

Vae Victis!

I was never really into the older cartoons either.

I usually preferred stuff like Dexter's Laboratory, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Ren and Stimpy, Aeon Flux, Beavis and Butthead, Rocko's Modern Life, etc.

Personally I can't stand old black and white movies. The majority I've seen are awful and I belive they are only defended because they are old and supposedly classic rather than being good movies.
