Subject: Do you expect a radical change of the BNet web design?

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Sadly yes. This forum layout is perfect and I'm afraid it will become a huge cluster of garbage like every other forum on the internet. It's so appealing to the eye, opposite of other forums.

I hate how other forums have really complex steps to complete simple actions. This site is really clean and presentable, less is more.

I agree Muffin! I like how it currently is! The background colors aren't stressful on the eyes, and it's easy to navigate.

Why did you click the more button? By accident? Reply is at the bottom...
They call me The Precursor

Might change a little, but the forum layout is perfect so I doubt they'll change that.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." -Johnny Cash

I'm expecting the web design of Bnet to change, but I'm hoping that it won't change to the point where I can't recognize some of the old Bnet anymore.

We're going to give you more control. You're going to freak out for a minute. Then you're going to give us great feedback and we're going to make stuff better.

But, yes, it will be like reading an Elder Scroll. Just before you receive the divine wisdom you so desire -- just as you are about to grasp hold of the meaning of it all -- you will be driven mad, and then you will be blinded.

By the awesome.

You sir, have made my day.

"Here, take my handkerchief."
Hoofin' it bare-chested since -blam-

The best kind of awesome by which to be blinded is the VRML kind, IMO. And the blindingest VRML is, of course, 8-bit. W00T!

Userscripts: {
  Shi Options: [Chrome, Firefox],
  Coup-5: [Chrome, Firefox, Opera]
}

Will the back-end be written entirely in a pure and not impure, functional and not unfunctional, language like Haskell?

Dang, coup 5 will probably die, I doubt any Bungie employee cares about that, but man it's such a shame to see one of my best friend's hard work go to waste. 3000+ lines of coding and script down the toilet.

Though the morrow may be barren of promises, nothing shall forstall my return.

There's a reason it has been getting called Bungie.next

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

I just hope it comes in Norwegian.

I made a quick mock up of how I would like things to look. It has a few new things but keeps to the same 'style' that we have now.

Image Preview.-No title bars, instead only simple prefixes. (More added though).
-Profile stats. A page where you can see how many posts the user has made and what 'medals' they have earned.
-Red/Yellow/Blue. Where the users 'medals' would appear. Only shows 3 but you can choose which ones.
-Star 'Favorite' posts just like you can with threads. That way you can save important' funny posts without filling up your bookmarks.
-Like button. Allows users to like a post/thread.

The Fight is Finished and the Road to Recon is behind !

Absolutely.

While B.net has one of my favorite designs, it's time for a change. And history proves that the webteam at Bungie always blow away the last version.

I expect maybe some Facebook esque features like notifications for when people quote you and other things like that.

Too Waypointy.

Also, all the colors ruin the site's aesthetic appeal.

I don't always ban people but when I do I laugh uncontrollably...that's if I was a Forum Ninja.

Truth is a matter of perception.

The Button

If anyone says they need to reincorporate that damn navbar I will cut you.

I hope it will change but not too drastically, I'm used to the way Bnet is now, I don't really want to have to get used to a new version.
