Subject: Will a Mod please lock this thread-

First off, I believe everyone has a right to life. What I am asking is this: Should the parents of mentally deficient people have a say whether or not to...forgive me for asking...Abort or git rid of the child IF they wish.
Hear me out, I just want to hear your opinions.
I am just curious, flamesuit up, Lets discuss...

Inappropriate. Went a little to far with the butt hole tearing.

People are invaluable.

Number 3 is bull-blam!-. My autistic cousin is employed and makes furniture for a living.

I'm a National Socialist, so yes, the volk which cannot provide for those who will provide for them are undeserving of life.

Make no mistake, the decision is not based on malevolence, but on benevolence. Painless and quick, look at them with pity, not malice.

  • 01.06.2013 2:19 PM PDT

Stop banning me please.

I would ask for this thread to be locked if I were you before we all get carpet banned.

Bungie.next needs to have a feature where you can remove your post from a thread 0-20 seconds after you post it.

What are these first person words you speak of?

It depends on the person, and the condition. There are a multitude of issues and solutions to come from the mental states of these people, many of which have the possibility of being unique occurrences. To have set "rights" on this issues is just begging for another 50/50 split like many other controversial subjects.

However this is the internet, so you might get one side with 90%, and the other with 10%. Who knows.

Hear me out, I just want to hear your opinions.
1.They will never lead lives that are normal
2.They will (depending on how severe they are) be completly dependant on others around them for 40+ years.
3.They will never produce income becuase of thier disabilities.

If the parents can afford to care for the child, sure.. if they don't want to well then... I guess its their call.

Maybe we should put them in camps and slaughter them; I think another country came up with this brilliant idea a few decades ago.

Then your cousin is not the kind of person this thread is about then.

The Renaissance Man; The Bigger Fool.

I would say it depends on the condition, but there are some conditions where that philosophy could be applied.

It's still a mental deficiency. Perhaps OP should be a bit clearer

  • 01.06.2013 2:21 PM PDT

I don't have the right to "euthanize" myself so why should they?

Two movies you should watch: Fight Club and Pineapple Express

"Wait. What do you mean, it's dead?"
"If marijuana is not legal within the next five years I have no faith left in humanity, period. Everyone likes smoking weed. They have for thousands of years. They're not going to stop anytime soon. You know? It makes everything better. Makes food taste better, makes music better. It makes sex feel better for God's sake. It makes -blam!- movies better you know?"

No. Now if that mentally disable person says that they want it I'd still say no because if they can realize that then they can realize alot more.

Then your thread is about a very minute amount of people, who are exactly that: people, and deserve to be treated as people not beasts.

Uh, they didn't put them in work camps, they simply killed them because there were plenty of other inmates that were better equipped to do their job(s).

Are you contesting that Germany didn't kill the mentally handicap?

They did, but not in the work camps.

I was also stating the "death camps" didn't exist.

Get the -blam!- out.

Tell me how Das Dritte Reich, under the strain of the war, managed to kill 11 million in three to four years, and dispose every single body.

Go take every death camp, figure out the max amount of people that can be killed in a single day, then take how long it takes to dispose a body via crematorium (8 hours), figure out how many crematoriums were in each camp, add that all up.

You won't even get six million.

1. They can lead completely normal lives (depending on the severity)
2. Most of the time they do not make it past their mid twenties, and they are not always dependent on others completely.
3. There are plenty of mentally disabled people that produce some kind of income even when severely disabled.
