Only to be very disappointed?

I bought "Morlock Night" after it was highly recommended by a friend, and absolutely hated. It just felt like a half assed book.

I believe that reading is one of the best forms of entertainment.

I've never been recommended a book.
Flood, help me.

Was recommened Eragon. Never read it, but I found out later that it's basically what happens when you combine the LotR universe with Star Wars' plot and lost interest.

I will agree the pacing is a bit odd.

The third and fourth books deviate somewhat, but you are mostly right.

By 'reading' we mean 'watching TV'.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

Sort of.

For a really long time, Ender's Game was always in the back of my mind as something I had to read sometime. 'Cause it's a pretty famous work of science fiction.

I read it last summer, and I've read the majority of the Ender quartet and all of the Shadow Saga since.

Well, I guess I missed the "disappointed" point.
No, I was not disappoint.
