You just got Sarged!

How are you supposed to Install a network adapter driver if you dont have a network connection on the computer that needs the driver? Is there a way to find out exactly which driver is needed? I'm missing the driver on an Acer Aspire One D255E.

Google your laptop.
Find the driver for your network adapter.
Install it via USB.
Profit.

You need to find out which network adapter your computer has, and then you install the drivers for it.

Usually the driver comes as a download that is a driver utility that installs multiple drivers, so it's okay if you find that. But first, you need to know what kind of adapter you have. The most common ones I work with are Realtek and Athenos.

Or maybe it was Atheros? Or maybe even Broadcom.

Use Acer's hardware vendor detection tool, or find it in device manager (start -> device manager -> enter).

Then use the utility I suggested. Should be easy to find on their site.
