Blur were at one point arguably the most popular band in Britain.
Aside from that, good choices. The Verve was god damn amazing.

For me... Blind Melon and Failure (nobody knows Failure D:)

Kind of thinking about their later stuff when I mentioned Blur.

I'd love to be a 10 year old and tell my mom I'm going on an adventure out into the world catching Pokemon, with her full support. Never mind the fact that there are rapists, criminals, and murders out there, or the fact that I may get killed by a Pokemon.

Luckily I have Pikachu.

The Cars
Def Leppard
Red Rider
Blue Oyster Cult

America needs more Gorillaz.

Their good but Damon Albarn has fallen out with the guy who made the comics and has reformed blur.
You're acting like this is a bad thing. He has left and reformed quite a few times...

"What's a team shoot and what's a wraith?!"
"It means we all shoot at the big blue thing together!"
"Okay!"

Lamb Of God

LOL, you serious? They're insanely popular and respected in the metal world.
Not only highly respected, but one if the current largest growing metal bands I'm general. I love Lamb Of God, and more are coming to them. Same for Sylosis, as they're -blam!- killer. Damn iPod...

Yes, Randy has been accused in manslaughter. That's one of the hottest stories in the metal community.

Realised a single a while back with Under The West Way and The Puritan both good songs but they haven't made an album for almost 10 years now. They only reformed in 08.

I don't think you guys know what an underrated band is. If this many people in this thread know of and enjoy Blur(including myself) they aren't underrated.

As much as I love them, they aren't close to being underrated.

Infant Annihilator, Drone, Ready,Set,Fall! and a few others come to my head. They're not very well known, and RSF formed maybe two years back.

I tried Lamb of God but couldn't get into em cause I couldn't stand the vocalist's voice. He did half the vocals on an Overkill song with Bobby Blitz, I didn't care for it cause of the dude's vocals. Not to hate on LoG or other bands like them, I just hate the fact that there are so few modern metal bands around that are at all like thrash/speed metal bands of the late 70s-early 90s. Even the mixing of modern metal doesn't sound as good to me as mixing from the 70s-90s.

Posted by: tntbabin A matter of personal taste. I can't stand Memphis May Fire or Miss May I, because they scream sing and are too light for me. All a matter of personal taste.

Yup, it's all personal preference. My bro hates Overkill cause he says the vocalists screams to much and has too high pitched of a voice, but he also hates Iron Maiden's vocalist for the same reason, which I found odd as I thought he was generally accepted as one of the better metal vocalists, lol.

I recently got all of ATRs discography, and This Darkened Heart is one of their greatest albums, IMO. ATR is All That Remains, FYI. Yes, Bruce Dickson is regarded as having one of the greatest voices in metal.
