Subject: Have You Ever Learned Anything Here?

Spread the love...

Some of you have spent a lot of time on this site, maybe even years. Have you ever learned anything that's actually helped you, outside of gaming?

I know that for me personally I've picked up some tips and tricks about life, especially in the flood. Then again, for 1 good advice you'll find about 30 stupid suggestions. However, I definitely don't think I haven't learned anything.

How do you feel about this?

I learned that you learned some tips and tricks about life.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

I've learnt plenty here. There's a lot of smart people who know what they're talking about, it just takes a bit of digging to find them.

I agree with this. Especially when you gather a lot of people who are all dedicated to a certain subject in a private group, then you get some really interesting conversations going.

I've learned quite a bit about this site and the users within, but nothing that will really help me outside of gaming.

I can't even begin to tell you..

At times it feels as though you're wading through a sea of crap in search of diamonds. But you find them with relative frequency if you keep looking.

I've learned more grammar here than I have through out my years of school.

Real account.

If you assign every letter of the alphabet a number, a is 1, b is 2, etc., and you take all of the values of the word "MATH", and add them, you get 42. So math is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything.

I learned many things in my travels.

I have. I've learned to be more accepting of people's opinion and learned what not to click on the internet.

"So much of what we do is ephemeral and quickly forgotten, even by ourselves, so it's gratifying to have something you have done linger in people's memories." John Williams

Absolutely.

Achronos has taught me how to make the perfect steak. The Flood taught me how to write Haiku. The Community taught me how to nostalgia. CortanaV taught me to always do your research. True Underdog taught me how to love one another. DeeJ taught me how to be sexy. Friends taught me how to have a good time.

But you Bungie Community, you taught me how to be patient.

Yeah things here and there that can help anywhere, but definitely things that help you on this website.

Also this helps me with typing and just just writing and using the right words in general even if that sounds funny haha
