Subject: Have You Ever Learned Anything Here?

I learned a lot about the human nature of an online public forum.

And it's frightening, but amusing.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

My spelling/vocab is probably a bit better. I have come across some random sites/videos posted in the flood with some good nuggets of knowledge or useful tools.
The flood kind of acts like a incredibly dumbed down version of BBC World News too.

Anyone else ever wonder what it's like for two elcor to do the nasty?

"Tentatively excited: Oh. Oh. Oh. Right there."

Yeah me neither.

I learned the expression "pot calling the kettle black" on Bnet!

I learned to grow up and not be an immature jerk.

I always had great grammar for my age, but this place definitely excelled me in that field. Years of being ridiculed by ass-hats has shaped how careful I am when I speak as well.

Man of God. Fan of Bungie. Eater of many Jr. Bacon cheeseburgers.

I've learned a lot of funny lines from Luke Smith on the Bungie Podcast.

What house has a rocket pod, has legs, and has a long narrow barrel that probably shoots something powerful?

Sounds like you're describing the lower half of my body, actually.

Yes. People are hypocrites.

Honestly, this site / forum / community has taught me a lot. In a lot of ways it's my 'beginning' to my life and journeys throughout my life.

I've had friendships, relationships. It's taught me to spell more correctly and given me better grammar skills. It's taught me to calm the -blam!- down sometimes. I always used to get worked up over the most meaningless things possible, and now I am proud of who I am, and I honestly don't care to get all worked up over something.

Only when I think about these things do I realize what this site has done for me.
