Take me into your heart! Accept me as your savior! Nail me to the -blam!- cross, and let me be reborn!

So I finished it earlier today. I'm not going to lie, I did tear up at the end. I haven't felt that way for a game in a while (not since the end of Mass Effect, and no, not because of the ending that was so "horrible").

The gameplay wasn't obviously amazing, but the story and characters were outstanding. I can't believe I haven't played this game before. I'm extremely excited for the next season.

What are your guys thoughts on the game? Are you excited for the next season?

A game needs more than story if Im going to play it. Cant stand that kind of gameplay in games.

I like how your sub box is full of science and political videos but your recommendations are full of anime girls kissing each other.

Just Zoid being Zoid ^_^

Story was nice, not worth $25.

I'm the kind of guy that cares more about story than anything else. Like the case with TWD here, the gameplay wasn't revolutionary, but the story kept me engaged at all times.

I'm with you on that the game was excellent in character development and connection. What a great way to end it, too.

Well, I've been economical with the truth.

I live in Aus too, couldn't we just buy it on Steam?

I bawled my eyes out when I played. Fantastic game. Absolutely worth what I paid and then some.

I'm really excited for the next season. I told Clem to meet up with Amid and Krista at the train tracks. So many questions.

Where are Amid and Krista?
Why is Clem in the field?
Who are those people on the field?
What happened to Lily?
I want to know what the characters think about Lee's death.

Yeah, I got the first episode for free and the rest for 200 microsoft points though.

Otherwise, I thought it was an amazing game. When Carly was shot in the head, I freaked out and the ending put me to tears especially with the music during the ending credits.

No idea. I mainly play on xbox. I know we could use a US XBL account to buy and download them, but I redeemed my mspoints on my main account. I was going to get them during the countdown to 2013 sale, but 'this offer is not available in your region'.

I cried st the end, not gonna lie. Clem and Lee were two very special characters, and Carly.. Lilly -blam!- shot her...

x_*x Blame Stosh

I just watched my girlfriend play it for me to get achievements. The story was pretty engaging, but I'm glad I didn't have to play it myself. Seemed very tedious.

It was so damn unexpected for me. I was like 'noooo it was clearly the kid, you dumb -blam!-!'.

Just finished the first episode and I loved it. I'm really looking forward to finishing the rest of the series. I think I got it for a steal at $12 during the Steam sale.

I raged so hard. I kicked get out of my group instantly, and later found out that it was Ben all along, which I figured.

1: Doug was better than Carly.
2: His name was Ben dammit, have a little respect.

No point in putting something funny, clever or informative here. Most probably im going to get perma-banned anyway.

That game and its story are highly overated. Its fine if you dont put attention to detail in the writing and just go with it but otherwise....

People tend to say that its quality as far as storywise its superior to the show and comics but that aint saying a lot.

You know I felt the exact same way before I played the game I personally hate point and click adventure games and QTE's but after playing the game the story and characters more than make up for it. I have never felt this attached to the characters in a game since ever.

The game actually makes you feel something when you play it, I was attached to the story and character than even most of the movies I have seen.

I think the first episode is still free I think you should at least try it.

I'm almost ashamed I only gave the developers 12 euros for this masterpiece. GOTY 2012 for me.

  • 01.06.2013 9:42 PM PDT

Game had potential, but telltale ruined it. I was full of rage at the end of episode 4 and throughout episode 5 didn't even cry because how pissed off I was. I will probably buy season 2 if it continues clems story.
