Subject: Headphones

Discuss everything headphone related.

Computer-wise, I use a USB headset with a microphone my dad gave me. It's years old, but still works great.

iPhone-wise (inb4productwarsinb4opcantinb4), I've gone through many sets of earbuds. I bought two pairs today to replace my old pair, one Sony, one Phillips, same price. Bought both because I couldn't decide which, figured I'd use one pair (I'm testing out the Sony right now) and wait until it died, than use the other and mentally compare them.

Not relay. But in my opinion Bose sounds better and there headsets also overall have a better build quality than most. There are also a few relay high end unkown brands out there that I've used like zowie, meze, Plantronics that beat anything and everything out there. Though they are very pricey.

EDIT: Beats are honestly overpriced crap with a poor sound quality, a very bad build quality, and very over priced. The only thing going for them is there name and hype.

Stop arguing over imaginary -blam!-. May as well argue over Santa Claus. There will never be proof that there is/was a god - and before people start saying "HERP DERP PROVE THERE WASN'T ONE ROFLOLOL" well, you are the people who made it up in the first place so we know there isn't one
What created the big bang then? A coalition of genetically modified TR-909s with extra distortion?

Yes, there is. I loved my Sennheiser HD 25-1s, but the right speaker gave out and I'm using some generic Philips whilst I ponder how to fix my HDs. You might think it's myth, but you do pay for quality. This of course is an exception with the 'hyp' brands (like Beats and Skullcandy), where they're often far overpriced. The more expensive models give you more volume in your audio, it's closer to the real thing - things aren't as tiny, hollow and artificial.

Get Beat Studios for recreational listening. the only problem is the sound leakage. So don't use them on a plane, bus, or any other mode of public transportation.

Using Sennheiser HD-201S. Never leave the room without them.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I used to have a pair of Turtle Beach X12 headphones until they broke, and now we have a pair of X31.
The sound quality is very good, but it hurts to wear them after about an hour or so, a problem I don't have with earbuds.

Intel C2D E8400 3.8GHz | Asus P5Q Deluxe | Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 2GB Vapor-X | G.Skill 4GB DDR2 1066MHz | Windows 7 Professional x64 | Sennheiser HD555 | Leopold Otaku with Cherry MX Blues | Cyborg R.A.T. 7

I have Sennheiser HD555's from a few years ago. I've de-foamed it, and it sounds great, but the build quality of the headphones themselves could use a little work.

"There's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I'd like to think that I walk that line every day."

I used the same pair of Turtle Beach X1s for years. Love 'em.

I tried Sennheiser HD280 Pros, but I didn't like them much. I use them for traveling, mostly.

"Thoughts are the shadows of feelings; always darker, emptier, and simpler."

I use Bose QC 15's when I'm listening to music that utilizes equalization, but if I'm just browsing YouTube or listening to music with poorer record quality (ex. punk rock) then I use a $60 pair of Sony headphones.

Turtle Beach X31's for the xbox. (I've had them for over two years and they still work great!)

Steelseries Siberia V2 for my PC (Good headset for the price, very comfortable.)

a-JAYS One for my phone (Good sound quality and they don't tangle.)
