Yes, necrobumping is against the rules, but I don't see anyone doing it.

We all wear masks and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing our own skin.

How is it against the rules if it's a legitimate response?

How long does the thread have to be dead before its necromancy?

  • 01.06.2013 9:57 PM PDT

If its on the first page I will, but if my threads go to the second I'll let them die.

Bungie doesn't like French on their site.

If the thread doesn't have an icon next to the title, it's dead. At least, that's how I view it.

"Living to smile, and not to succeed; smiling to inspire happiness, not to give the illusion you are happy; creativity and music to inspire smiling, which in turn inspires happiness; being nice to be happy, not for being perceived a good person."

I've done it occasionally, but only because I simply couldn't leave things the way they stood.

But yes, it is against the rules.

"Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bull-blam!-, then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you."-Lemmy of Motorhead

Yes, I'm the guy who had the Flood admit to being furries.

Why is necrobumping against the rules? It seems to be a rule everywhere, but wouldn't it be more efficient to post in the existing thread, dead or not, rather than take more space with another thread? (in which case people complain the thread's been posted before)?

Sometimes I'll check the second page for threads. If I make a thread, sign out and come back to it being a hot topic but on a later page I'll comment in it to reply to some people.
