I would have thought it'd be the other way round. Valve has always been a software company, whereas nVidia is known for their hardware.

Guess we'll see which one does better when they release, who knows at this point.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

I like the idea of it being an introduction to PC gaming for someone who has never dabbled in it before, or maybe a console gamer who wants to play a few PC exclusives.

It doesn't really me as I own a rig already, but if anyone can make this work, Gabe would be the person to do it.

I might consider it, my Laptop is getting a bit old and not worthy of upgrading, I can't afford a rig at the moment and I've been looking for a budget PC for a while.

For the right price this could appeal to me.

Octavia is best pony.

It's running Linux. Peachy. Practically no developers have coded their games for Linux, so you'll have first-party Valve games and indie only. Hell, most developers haven't even ported over to Mac. Like it or not, Windows is the OS of gaming.

That's very true but what happens if Valve ship millions of these?

Trust me, by the time that thing is out Linux will be big time.

"So- So this means Im just going to be miserable for the rest of time?!"

"No. This means that you have to live life to the fullest. You have one life, live it well. Make sure you die without regrets. Get a new life, new mate, new family. You, out of all people, don't deserve a terrible fate of misery like that. Having nothing to look forward to is good. It makes sure you want to keep on going. Living is a right, not a privilege."
